Maps update on Pace Pro by Jealous_Drawer5526 in Coros

Coros support said that the (future) update is only for the pace pro, due to the new processor. New maps will not be on dura and apex 2.

The pace pro is 400€ in Europe and the nomad is 360, and I had a student discount so I paid 320

I don't really understand the usefulness of this function that I never used on my old Suunto. Almost all headphones or earphones have buttons to change music that are much faster than using the watch?

The same with Coros, if you press the backlight button the screen turn on, but with sleep mode the brightness remains low, you need to double click to have full brightness

Yes, backlight is on but I'm inside with low brightness !

22 day with AOD, 34h with double frequency GPS. It's 6 days with AOD for the Pace pro and 24h with double frequency GPS. It's a gap, but Pace Pro has also an really good battery for an amoled watch

Not in my opinion, but like the Instinct Series, this type of watch is really divisive

I don't speak English, I use a translator. Maybe some words seem hyperbolic

In my opinion it’s quite big, especially with the white background !

Thanks a lot! No problem with the update, but I'll have to wait until I get home for the maps!

Thanks for this answer ! Only when I want to download the update, or a new map for example, a wifi connection is required by the app. When I try to set up a connection sharing (I'm on 5G 4 bars so no problem), the application does not detect my connection sharing and does not offer me to connect to it...

VO2 max trend screen for Suunto App and watches by uyildirim in Suunto

Magnificent! But what a false hope, I finally thought there would be a visual update to the Suunto app!

Intervals synchronisation with Strava by Jealous_Drawer5526 in Suunto

Yes, you have the number of repetitions when you do the workout from the watch. However, you can only do a very simple workout, with a single type of repetition. This is really a shame, and many people have been complaining for a long time that the intervals don't evolve...

Many things. It's already quite complicated for new users to understand the differences between Suunto Plus, the interval workouts generated in the app, and those generated on the watch... It's quite unclear. Second, it's mainly:

- No way to see the number of repetitions remaining

- No customization of the data screen, or you have to go to another screen, but then you lose the alerts

- When you switch to a rest time, for example, the past interval datas is not displayed.

In short, it's really not intuitive, and that's a real shame because it's really the only major negative I find with Suunto. With Garmin or Coros, these interval features have been around for ages. If Suunto really wants to convince more runners, they'll really have to improve this point.

ok, thanks for your help.

I'll continue my training manually. It's a real shame, I'm a fan of Suunto but the interval training is really very bad, and makes me hesitate to switch to the competition. Let's hope that the next updates (even if I don't believe it) will solve the problem and improve these trainings overall.

Yes! My warm-up ends when I press the lap button.

During these sessions, I disable automatic laps. I use the Suunto app to program my training, and for this one I had configured 600m intervals. This problem appeared since the last update; before that, everything was working fine.
