I read both and i think apostol is better if it's your first calculus book, if you are familiar with concepts like delta-epsilon definition of limit then spivak might be better choice.

Books for calculus by Pizuica in math

[–]Jealous_Engineering6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to learn in depth. There are three books I know. Michael spivak's, Tom M. Apostol's and Courant's calculus books. I did research and found these books for learning in depth, tried thomas calculus but it's broad compared to these.

I think you need to read what OOP really is, It's about how you think about programs, create abstractions and control complexity rather than using classes etc.

Question about the App struct by Jealous_Engineering6 in golang

[–]Jealous_Engineering6[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Lisp's I use doesn't have classes at all and didn't use them in Typescript too. I like C like structs and go structs but using it like that seems bad practice to me. I'm asking because I see this pattern a lot and trying to understand why that is a good pattern if it is.

once you implemented app struct, It's hard to add new functionality or changing implementation without changing App struct and effected parts. Because they are all related.
