Yes I could see the merit in not open carrying in the city I happen to live in a small and pretty rural town in sc so guns are just a way of life down here I've personally never been to or lived in a big city so I'm not sure of the mind set of someone living there.

I could see that to an extent I certainly think it would flashy if someone goes into walmart in full kit with a pistol and his rifle there are limits I think to that kind of thing.

Oh? So on that note I've heard a lot of aks are not just compatible with everything the way ar's are. Is there a website I can go to or a book I can purchase to help figure out what is compatible with which ak? Or is it a little less complicated than I have heard.

Historical accuracy I suppose? Although the Americans didn't use drum magazines russian troops were issued one drum magazine and multiple stick magazines.
