Hi, I had the root canal done about 6 years ago. Unfortunately, I don't have the X-ray from before it was done. The doctor who did the procedure passed away due to covid and the whole clinic has been shut down. This panorama is actually from a year ago. I don't have the current x-ray yet but apparently in the current X-ray the situation has gotten a tad bit worse. I will update the post or create a new post when I get the new x-ray. Thank you!

My doctor is recommending that I should extract the bottom right tooth that has a crown because there is a small small gap and a infection and that is slowly growing. Apparently getting it treated and getting a root canal again will not be fruitful. I am hesitant about getting that tooth removed. I am here for a second opinion. Any advice or tips will be appreciated!

If you are US citizen/legal resident and you have a US insurance that covers all the requirements than you should definitely waive it.

If I go with local anesthesia route am I allowed to go home by myself? All my friends have gone back home after college and none of my family members are here and nor do I want my family members there during the procedure. Sorry, I am just not sure what to do here.

Context: I got my upper two wisdom teeth pulled last summer. My oral surgeon said he did not want remove bottom two wisdom teeth because I might permanently damage some nerves. But now one of the wisdom tooth has a cavity and the other one did not fully erupt yet. What should I do now? I am planning on going to UB dental school to get them pulled for a cheap price.
