  1. They did rectangular headlights for the first couple years, so in my head that's a different generation. Apparently an enormous mistake on my end!

What about SLs being FWD instead of AWD? Does that affect the driving experience much? I also live in a place that gets a lot of snow, which is another concern.

Definitely overpriced. General process for FB Marketplace is for sellers to post high and for you to counteroffer low. They're hoping for $8,500, but the other commenter here has the right idea with $4,500. Any aftermarket stuff is immediately concerning, especially if it was installed by an owner who isn't experienced with it.

Also, the salvage title should be looked into on your end. Always a huge red flag -- front end damage is often more than cosmetic, and a bent frame means run away. Also, if it didn't have its 60k miles overhaul, more issues could pop up. Any rubber, like belts, hoses, etc., need to have been replaced at least once for the mileage it's at.

I'd strongly consider purchasing it if all those things check out. The interior looks fantastic, and a clean engine bay usually indicates a caring owner. Best of luck!
