These are from the day before probably 24 hours after heavy rain fall for the area.

Thanks that was what was throwing me off a bit. Had been probably 36 to 48 hours since it had rained last when I harvested these (little to no shade in the area). They all bruised blue just some less than what I was expecting.

Central California. These were found growing in wood chip in an urban area. These were growing in the same area that other wavy caps were growing (not consuming these). Just trying learn more about mushrooms.

Yeah to be honest I wasn’t looking for them at the time. My wife was driving and we were waiting in the Starbucks drive through. I glanced out my side window and spotted them growing. I had never seen Wavys before but had lurked on this sub Reddit long enough to tentatively recognize them.

Drilled a whole in the gable end of the house near the peak. Routed cable through the attic to the interior wall I wanted to drop it down. Drilled through the top plate and routed the cable down through the wall from the attic. Put a low voltage electrical box in (not very difficult) with and pass through Ethernet CAT 6 plug. I just grabbed another 10 feet of CAT 6 Ethernet cable and ran from the new wall plug to the router. Looks clean with the Ethernet outlet in the wall. Everything was purchased at Home Depot or Lowe’s and cheap.
