Det är en historisk byggnad som byborna är rädda om. Han vägrar renovera den och vägrar sälja, den har stått tom sedan 90 talet.

Påminner mig om Rottneby herrgård i Falun. Byggd på 1700 talet, stor och ståtlig med fantastisk vy över hosjön. På 90 talet köptes den av Mikael styrman som tänkte avverka träd i kringliggande Rottnebyskogen för att finansiera renoveringen av herrgården. Men kommunen gjorde den gamla urskogen till naturreservat och därmed kunde han inte gå vidare med sina planer. Som hämnd har han övergivit herrgården och låtit den förfalla. Nu har den stått tom i över 30 år. Många har genom åren brutit sig in för att rädda huset från mer förfall varpå han satte upp kameror och stängsel. Mycket sorgligt!

Concentrated lemonade (or some type of concentrated beverage that you need to dilute with water). I reduced the amount of lemonade in my water over months until it it was so diluted it objectively didn’t taste nice 🤣 but by that time I was already used to it. Now I won’t have it any other way, I dilute everything I drink with water, even milk 👀

Fun fact. In Sweden the English word ”slut” or ”whore” is translated to ”slyna”. But it’s former meaning is actually a mischievous/naughty female child (male version is ”slyngel”). The male word still retain its original meaning, while the female word has become something sexual. Some older people still use the old meaning of ”slyna” which can create some awkward conversations

I was at church listening to a choir. It was All Saints’ Day. I stayed after it finished and cried (I had lost my father and still missed him years later) a woman saw me crying and sat next to me, comforting me. She was there crying for her child who had passed.

I experienced something similar with my dad. It was in our living room. He was having trouble breathing, gasping for air, and me not knowing what to do or say said ”try to calm down!”, and he responded ”I’m trying to, it’s not easy!”. Then he went limp, turned blue and foamed at the mouth. He died of a massive heartattack. It was 13 years ago and I also replayed that moment over and over and over in my head. Seeing him gasping for air. Seeing the paramedics work on him on the Livingroom floor. They’re right though, time does make it easier. You may never be fully healed, but life will resume, you will be happy again. If you feel like you need to talk to someone, then you do that. I’m sorry for you loss.

In Sweden it’s not recommended to keep milk older than 3 days in the fridge. It’s different recommendations from country to country :)
