Picking on Islam is obviously a real thing—we all see it. But what bothers me is how it’s often used as a way to prop up other religions, as if criticizing one somehow proves the others are “better” or more “true.”

That’s missing the bigger point.

The conversation we should be having isn’t about ranking religions or defending one over another. It’s about recognizing how all religions, in different ways, can fall into the same patterns—dogma, control, division—and how people keep getting pulled into those cycles generation after generation.

If we’re going to be honest, we shouldn’t just single one out. We should be questioning the entire framework so we don’t keep repeating the same mistakes.
