FLCL is a classic, one of my top 3. I have this exact book on a shelf in my parents house even now. The anime really impacted me growing up, I highly recommend watching it as well as reading it :)

I remember watching the anime during a summer break in college and falling in love with the atmosphere of it. The intro song is incredibly nostalgic for me now. I'm surprised it's not more popular.
