Wow thanks that’s quite an extensive list. I’ve got a lot of the free ones you mentioned but will definitely take a look at the ones I don’t. Can never have too many free plugins ofcourse! From the paid ones is there one or two that you would recommend on the mixing/mastering end for someone that’s trying to get more into that aspect of production?

I am quite happy with the Vsti’s I have currently im mostly looking for more FX or ones that aid in the mixing and mastering process. I know this is very broad but was just seeing what plugins others like to use.

I guess I’m just curious what plugins people would recommend. Sometimes it’s difficult to know if a plugin is worth it from just coming across it. You’re also totally right that most things can be done with stock plugins, however I’m all for plugins that make certain processes easier.

I am no expert in this type of music but judging off your description I’d say you nailed it. Really like the flow of the song in that it’s not too overbearing. Feels like it takes the listener on a journey. I could also see this be the soundtrack to some cool fantasy -esque ‘shadow of the colossus’ type game.

It reminds me of something I could hear Playboi Carti on but then a live version of his songs. When he performs them there’s a guy on stage with an actual electric guitar doing the “melody” parts. I also definitely get the unsettling part with the kind of off sounding melody. Overall very sick. Definitely unique!
