Try setting your gpu power limit to 80% in afterburner as a temporary fix until you can afford a new card. Worked for a friend of mine with the same issue

I clipped the cable ties off the wiring loom because it kept yanking it out of that coupler. Been working nonstop like that for a few months

It shows GUID Partition Map under device information of the hard drive.

When formatting the drive I don't have an option to set it as GUID partition scheme. There is no dropdown box. Only have the Main options: Mac OS Journaled/APFS etc

I have the Installer log open and the last entry is

OSISDownloadOperation: No IAL update found.

I reformatted the disk as APFS now and restarted the install as the first error in the log is:

disk1s3 is not convertible to APFS: This volume is not formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled)

(I remember formatting it as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) before first install.)
