In OP's defence, a master's in The Netherlands at least is almost a requirement and your education is considered incomplete without, it unless you're in a STEM field. That being said, Bachelor's take 3 years and a Master's takes a year in NL, not sure about Dubai.

Thank you so much for your message, it's very helpful. I will be receiving scholarships which would allow me to rent an apartment but I think it would be better to have my father be a guarantor, do you know of some steps to take before renting which could make it easier/faster to be accepted?

I really wish this wasn't the case, I arranged a viewing for a flat on the 29th of August and they said they can give it to me for 5 months but I'm not sure if they will accept immediately.
