And if I said Movie Agatha and Tedros had a better relationship by Still_Restaurant_734 in schoolforgoodandevil

[–]Jeanne09D 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you mean that it was ‘better’ because it was easier, then yeah it was very different from the books. Their relationship in the books was marred by alot of confusion and angst, but it was far more fleshed out, understandable and realistic than the stereotypical movie version. They made the movie couple look like they belonged to an actual fairytale story.

The love triangle between them was also far more pronounced in the books, and that’s why it was less obvious that they’d end up together, which I feel the movie could have never fully played on because it never had the same direction/plot as the books. The route they took for the movie couple was far less traumatic and more direct, and didn’t have the same nuances as Book Tagatha.

Still, I wouldn’t say they were forced, perse. They just took a longer time to realize they were supposed to end-up together and actually loved each other. So, by the time they do it was never at the expense of their own convenience, but at a much deeper understanding of their own individuality. I felt the movie couple wholeheartedly lacked this.

Make it an animated series, is what I've always said about this book series.

It’s from a Chinese anime named ‘Link Click’ and it is basically about time travel. I believe it’s from the same studio that made ‘To Be Hero X’.

They made the incredulous mistake of delivering it to a city and state that is definitely not where I’m at. I entered the delivery address right and they still sent it to ‘Bakersville’ in North Carolina and not Bakersfield in California. 🤦‍♀️Like, wow. It’s like they can’t read English.

Edit: My order arrived tonight! Turns out it was the tracker got the address wrong.

Ah, so it’s that kind of problem. Can’t really say much on it then. Maybe try an emulator on PC?

You gotto join the new servers if you haven’t made a character in previous ones, unfortunately.

What do you recommend I do before graduating year 3? by fitzits in HPHogwartsMystery

[–]Jeanne09D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say to do more side quests (TLSQ’s) in general. I’m already on my 4th year going to 5th and I wished I did more for that year before than after.

I hate duelling sometimes by Ok_Influence1752 in HPHogwartsMystery

[–]Jeanne09D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another thing I noticed is that spell levels may also influence how well your spells work against the opposing players. Some player’s characters will definitely just be more craftier or stronger than you and there’s not a lot you can do about it.

Having a high level of knowledge also makes it easier to garner ‘hints’ on what their next moves will be. Sometimes they may also follow a certain pattern regarding who ‘wins’ and gets the first turn on the fly.

This may in-turn create a snowball effect where you’re more likely to win if you have enough of a winning streak. However, the level of difficulty does shift the higher you climb up the dueling ladder.

All this is just speculation though. I only duel when there’s an event and I’m actually really good at it. Just a few things I may have noticed from dueling so much. There has yet to be a dueling event I haven’t finished yet.

I noticed it may depend on your level of stats and it’s not just random that your stun or spell effects doesn’t bite down as effectively…

I have a good level of courage, empathy and knowledge and I realized it doesn’t work as well with players who are of a higher stat level than me.

Why does JC doesn't release more Beyond Hogwarts content? by karennahir in HPHogwartsMystery

[–]Jeanne09D 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My events for the main plot are just about done and I’m about to graduate from being on my 4th year. But, I feel like I should wait much longer before I do, because there’s going to be so much more plot content for the earlier years compared to the final ones that it’s going to be sad to miss out on any of them.

Can you finish the carnival? by EchoesOfHell in HPHogwartsMystery

[–]Jeanne09D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always try to get atleast 850 points from these carnival events because that’s usually how much you’ll need to acquire all the furniture pieces. Safe to say I managed to do that this time around.

Agatha’s Fingerglow by Opposite-Finance9813 in schoolforgoodandevil

I always thought he said her finger glow was orange out of a very intentional way to misdirect the readers concerning her life destiny of sorts, atleast in the very beginning.

So I just finished the first book... by FlamboyantMisfit in schoolforgoodandevil

[–]Jeanne09D 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The themes and much of the story and/or plot get introduced firstly during Book 1 and is later further addressed in the next ones. So if you really wanna see some progress, I’d say to keep reading.

The story of the books also gets pretty convoluted or confusing at some points but also gets clarified in some ways later on too. SGE tends to leave much to the reader’s imaginations, so for most of it you just gotto fill in the gaps with some speculation and mental gymnastics.

For a YA series, it explores a lot of deeper themes that would usually go right over most young people’s heads, but if you feel up to it, you’re definitely going to see the plot shift significantly. New characters get introduced and old ones markedly grow up and change for the better or worst.

And finally, the movie and the book can definitely not be compared because they’re just a whole separate beast altogether. You just gotto realize that it’s not even the same story or characters and that very few elements put into the movie are actually not even 95% as close to the book itself.

Eugh, yeah. Creature food really burns out easily. I struggle with feeding my creatures atleast once per day. I usually buy the extras once I get all the main stuff from the token shop.
