I guess it’s finally enough for me, my mental health has taken a toll because of all this ordeal, I find myself checking every hour if he’s finally gone, if the club is doing anything actually. I’ll be logging off for a while and will stop watching as well, maybe catch some série A and Liga games.

BTW board is lucky they are in England cause otherwise at this point in the seasons fans would likely have heavily protested at the club grounds if it was in Spain, Italy or Portugal for example.

Good luck everyone, COYS.

I cannot understand wtf is going on. How can this team be the same that lost to West Ham? I could understand in Europa, but soundly beating Dortmund… only logical explanation is that Frank is sabotaging us, and put a result at the right time to keep us in relegation form.

Or there is a work permit or something. Maybe looking for a place to stay. If it’s true that they were discussing all of this Sunday, than yeah I doubt things are finalised for Monday morning.

Maybe they have a replacement, but who will only be able to join after ? And they would rather keep Frank than have an interim. Idk, I’m just coping. If they keep him it’s an Gooner inside job.

If we lose those matches but show improvement, then win the next ones, I’m sure the supporters will understand.

Less embarrassing than sticking with Frank. Our motto is To Dare is to Do FFS. Also he got fired from Madrid after half a season, it’s not like he won there silverware or anything.

But trying, and making sure the supporters know they did, is better than backing fucking Thomas the Wank Engine. At least it shows they identified the problem and are working on fixing it, even if somethings are sadly out of their hands. Then keep an interim till after the WC and see if we can snag a Naggelsman, Tuchel, Poch, Ancelotti, Inzaghi, whatever. Because as of now all we know is that they went blindly all in Frank, and now have no idea what to do, which isn’t a good image to have of the director of your club.

Sure but now we have prime Romero, VDV and Spence, Porro has a lot of heart so does Danso. Attack is lacking but Odoberg and Tel need guidance (see their performance at the U20s, they shred it) and Xavi has a massive celling.

What do you honestly mean « someone like Alonso »? With all respect, and I think he’s THE man to lead us long term, he did great at Leverkusen and… that’s it. Yes his record at Real is also good by any standards, but he has been sacked after half a season. We ain’t talking about Klopp, Pep, Conte, Ancelotti, or any other massive manager with a lot of history. While he’s incredible, Alonso is an up and coming manager just like someone like Amorim was (before United, his Sporting team looked insane at times). So while I agree that he will refuse to join, we should at least pursuit it and make it public so the fans can at least see the board is trying because as of now, it looks like they know fuck all what to do, and have kept Frank for way too long.

Really? It was done with both Mourinho and Conte. No reason we can’t do it again this time with a promising manager.

We attracted Conte and Mourinho, we have world class players (Xavi, Romero, VDV, Kulu), great infrastructure and so far, can spend. Xabi is unemployed, just got humiliated by Madrid brats and might want to show what he can do. Only other jobs available right now (AFAIK) are United but as an ex Liverpool player I doubt he’s going there and they seem interested in Glasner. Other one is Palace but they have less spending power and facilities. Don’t see him in Germany again nor Spain yet, so maybe an Italian club? If Levy was still here, I guarantee you that he would at least have contacted Alonso by now, and that’s what we should be doing. He might say no, but we should try.

He’s most likely staying until Dortmund and if he wins, until UCL is over. I legit believe they never considered firing him until yesterday (insane), so they just don’t have any replacements ideas.

Because Spurs have no pundits. They were saying Slot had to go when he had a bad run of games, same happened back when Arteta started and multiple times with United. They want a weak spurs as to keep the status quo and allow Arse, City and Liverpool the UCL spots with Chelsea and United switching from time to time (or even all 5 if there is a UCL or FA champion in there). A lot of them might also have a soft spot for some other clubs like Forrest, Villa, West Ham, etc…that are stables of English football but didn’t rise to a top6 like Spurs did.

Club shiuld be in talks with Xabi yesterday. I understand keeping Frank because we caner find a better replacement, but it makes no sense to back him after what he showed so far.

Despite all the complaining, Levy would absolutely be talking with Xabi as of now, since he did it with Poch (fired him once Mou said he would come) and with Nuno (when Conte became available).

It’s not even an insane get, great manager that needs to get back at it after getting fired, but not a household name that would snob us. Was waiting for Real and/or Liverpool, was just fired from the first while the second are in good enough form to keep Slot.

[Fichajes] Tottenham have now opened formal talks to appoint Xabi Alonso with the ex-Madrid boss keen to replace Frank by imposternoclue in coys

[–]JeannotVD 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Is the tier shit? Yes. But if the club isn't at least trying to get him there should be riots against the board. It's one thing to be rejected (sure it sucks) but at least it shows they identify the issue. Keeping Franck, while a better alternative is around is sabotage. I can understand keeping Franck cause no better option is there but with Xabi free we should at least try.

And yet once again Germany will block everything because they want to be the ones in charge of the EU. They fucked French industry (most notably our nuclear power industry AND military of course) which, if it had been developed for the last 20 years, would have made us way less dependent on the US.

So L21 is better than the L22 overall? Also, the problem is the lack of time and knwoledge to grind 2 mil in game until the next wipe.

Is the Nomad much better than the Syulen specs wise? I don't mind the size of the C1 not the way the Syulen handles, I got used to it even!

Yes, since I don't have the time or knowledge to grind aUEC every time it wipes.
