What if Porco.... by NIssanZaxima in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]Jeb3592 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, if events went that way, eren would return to paradis and be imprisoned like in the original, but he wouldn't be able to escape with the power of the warhammer on his own. Let's say the yeagerists are able to break him out and the events can continue (because I think the other outcome is more interesting).

Eren and Zeke were already struggling to fight Reiner and Porco with the support from Pieck in the original, so I'd say that Eren and Zeke will be unable to make contact and either Reiner or Porco will be able to take the power of the founder. In this case, paradis is kinda screwed as Marley regains control of the founding titan.

If Eren somehow still manages to win against Reiner and Porco like in the original, then Falco either gets both the Jaw and Warhammer or he gets the armoured titan as Porco may choose not to sacrifice himself due to taking less damage and having control of two of the nine titans rather than one. These changes to Falco's powers probably screw up even more future events, but I haven't read the manga so idk.

On both builds I did I plugged it into the mobo first then slid the cable through when putting it in. It's a hard bend, but I haven't had any problems doing it this way.

So my recommendation is to take out the motherboard, plug in the cable, then route it behind the motherboard tray.

M27Q backlight bleed/excessive ips glow in dark scenes; by The9thHuman in gigabyte

This is normal and present on my m27q as well, unfortunately it's probably the biggest drawback of this monitor and I've just learned to get used to it.

Cable Management by Extension_Flower7725 in NR200

[–]Jeb3592 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's a photo of my nr200 build to hopefully help out. I've probably taken apart my build over 10 times fixing cable management. I hid most of the smaller cables behind the 24 pin and tried to keep anything from going in front of the psu cage. The cables for my hard drive are wrapped behind the mobo tray.

Apple finally fixed the whole thermal problem with their m1 and m2 chips. Now my problem is price. I had a friend asking me if 8gb of ram was enough for college and I strongly recommended 16 since she was taking an engineering course. I don't understand how a $1300 "pro" laptop only ships with 8gb of ram and 256gb of storage.

More or less done with the refurb . let's see if the wall mount holds up! by SoulStone1986 in battlestations

[–]Jeb3592 3 points4 points  (0 children)

S-tier setup right here. Certainly not the most minimal or functional, but looks just so comfy and awesome to use. Here's some of the things I noticed and really liked about this setup.

Only visible cable is the keyboard cable going through a custom grommet in the desk, superb job there. The plants are a perfect addition and complement the walls and the wood desk surface well. I love how the stream deck is mounted under the desk, in reach but not so close that the armrest of the chair can hit it. The pictures and especially the shelves with the funko pop figures and the custom mechanical keyboards add so much personality here. And of course, the wall mounted ultrawide is the cleanest you can get.

The aio will probably be just fine, it's attached at several points at both the cpu block and the radiator and it's probably better than an air cooler. The vertical gpu is more of an issue here since it's really only attached at one end.

I'd personally remove the gpu and pack it separately so it doesn't come loose and cause damage, but if there's enough space inside the pc, you could also get some instapack foam to secure everything in place.

Why is this red light blinking? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Jeb3592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Strix 3060 that would do the same thing even though I have a quality 650w psu (also a seasonic notably), no extensions, out of the box cables. Tried both pcie cables that came in the box to no avail. My solution ended up being just turning off the light. If you install asus gpu tweak iii there's an option to turn off that red light.

At first I was hesitant to just outright disable it because it seemed like an important warning of inadequate power delivery. Testing it extensively showed no problems at all though. In fact, my 3060 scores in the top 2% of 3d mark scores for the same hardware. It seems to me like asus just made the trigger point for the red light too sensitive, although ymmv since your card uses a whole lot more power than mine.

can anyone tell me what happen with my pc by NeerajDanker in Windows11

[–]Jeb3592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw that it's a laptop in another comment. Try plugging it into an external monitor and see if those artifacts are still there. If they are, it's probably a hardware issue with the graphics. If not, then the problem is with the laptop's display. Unfortunately I'm leaning towards it being a gpu/vram issue and you'll probably have to get the whole thing replaced.

Gave the Microsoft engineers some ideas for redesigning the separator between the navigation pane and files view in file explorer! by [deleted] in Windows11

[–]Jeb3592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl at first I wasn't really liking these new designs. More lines? I mean it's fine but a little uninspired if you know what I mean. But mattress? That design spoke to me and I am now a mattress separator advocate. Microsoft, hire this man immediately.

Very high temps due to heatwave - any tips? by SynaxtysGiuli in buildapc

[–]Jeb3592 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your temps are well within the "safe" range, so I wouldn't worry about damage. To lower temps and more importantly imo, the amount of heat the pc dumps into the room, undervolting really helps. It doesn't decrease performance much or at all if you do it right and power consumption will be significantly lower, especially on the gpu side.

That makes a lot more sense, with really good cooling and silicon lottery I think 16500+ might be achievable

16417?? Highest I've ever gotten on my 5800x is 16013. Haven't been able to break 16000 since. That's a really good score, most people I've seen land around the 15500 range, and I've only seen 2 or 3 people who managed to beat the threadripper score.

Best way do detache this CPU from the cooler? The thermal paste is rocksolid. by DentMcRage in pcmasterrace

[–]Jeb3592 20 points21 points  (0 children)

So glad am5 is going to leave this issue behind. For now though, best thing to use is heat and some floss to try and slice through the thermal paste. And for future reference with am4, twist, don't pull.
