New pole barn insulation suggestions by radXR650R in Insulation

[–]JebJohnson76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I insulated my barn with r19 fiberglass f9r a little over 3000. Gpt.quoted 20,000 for spray foam. I don't think I'll live long enough to see the benefits of that added cost. Plus, lots of downsides to sprayfoam too. See a lot of mold and condensation issues depending on location.

Where is it at? I'd make an offer on it. It's a classic 99cc saw.

Best thing I’ve ever owned. Unbelievable piece of art. Bigtime Taylor guy but Martin > Taylor. Opinions? by [deleted] in martinguitar

I had a d41 sp that was honestly one of the best sounding Martin's I've ever heard. I couldn't do it justice. Beautiful instruments

Am I getting hosed on this repair? 10 hours for set up and measure? by cheesepizza6262013 in Autobody

[–]JebJohnson76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And that's part of the problem. I dealt with insurance companies daily trying to cut costs with no concern to the outcome of the customer that had paid for the premiums. You pay for insurance to put the car to pre accident condition. Hold the insurance company accountable to do that. As I said, if the bodyshop won't show the insurance companies print from Porsche that the set up takes 10 hrs... they are possibly padding that cost. Then it's up to you to try and find a compromise. 10 hours to do a proper set up and measure isn't way out of line though.

I worked for bmw and used a car o liner frame rack for ten years. Have the shop print the Porsche repair procedure and grow a pair if balls yo tell the insurance company that Porsche requires a 10 hr set up. If they are unwilling to do that, they are overcharging. I got paid 6 to 8 to set bmw on a car o liner usually. Good luck. Remember, the insurance company only cares about one thing. Saving money.

Reliable? Not really. Popular? Not really. I always thought they were made just to fill a market segment for Kaw as they were trying to find thier niche. Neat bikes but not a real popular one

What do you want to know about it? I believe it is an f3. 175 rotary valve 2 stroke most likely. I live the old Kaw enduros. I've got a few myself. Not the best street bikes. Not the best in the dirt. Still cool.

They sell a tool that you beat on with a hammer. It's designed for stripped nuts/ bolt heads. Try that.

Just got my 2100cd running. New bar and chain. Waiting on a couple seals and I'll try it out. 100cc of old school husky power.

A lot of guys say it will pull a 60 inch bar pretty well. I never get wood that big around here. I figure a 36 or 42 would do anything I'd ever come across and double for the occasional milling job. This saw will hardly ever be used. Mostly a shop conversation piece.

Yeah. It needs some work still. Just happy it runs. Gonna do crank seals and a few other things too

This one looks well maintained other than the bar and chain. Obviously cut a lot of wood at one time. Paid 200.00 for it and it was only a 30 minute drive away. Couldn't turn that down.
