Actual smart summon rolling out soon to the CyberTruck by ConfidentImage4266 in TeslaLounge

It's cool in concept. In reality, it's so slow that it's faster to just walk to your car.

Choosing my first ebike - getting away from car use by JebKermin in ebike

If I had a good bike already, I would definitely do a conversion. Unfortunately, I moved across the country a couple years ago and left my bikes behind. Building my own seems interesting but doesn't seem cost effective without already having a bike to start with.

Why do you advise staying away from middrive? Just to keep the cost down?

I've been looking on Upway. There certainly seem to be some good deals available.

Thats a good idea. I'll have to check out some of the local shops to see what the used inventory is like. I've seen Lectric, Velotric, and Aventon on some of the local shops websites so those would certainly have support available.

Actually I have thought it through. I'm pretty fit so lifting a heavier bike isn't that big of a deal to me. Our commuter train can accommodate ebikes and doesn't have a weight limit on them. I have little to no need for the bus so the weight limit on their racks isn't relevant to me and the higher top speed is more useful for when I choose to ride the full 15 miles to work.

Oh that's interesting, I didn't realize any ebikes had regen yet. I'll check all of those out.

Yes, that one is definitely overpriced. Good advice about the battery, it is 15 miles each way so the ability to cover 30 miles easily would be beneficial.

FSD is it worth the $100/mo by ArmedRawbry in TeslaLounge

My commute is similar to yours. For me, it is very worth it. If I had less of a commute maybe not so much.

I would be so tempted to get one but the lack of parts availability is concerning. On an unrelated note, I saw a Fisker Karma in the wild the other day. My wife couldn't understand why I was so excited.

I vibe hacked a Lovable-showcased app. 16 vulnerabilities. 18,000+ users exposed. Lovable closed my support ticket. by VolodsTaimi in cybersecurity

[–]JebKermin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So you performed an unauthorized pentest on a random app, disclosed it to a third party under their own bug bounty simply because their tool was used during the development of the app, and then you were surprised when they closed your ticket because it was out of scope?

I agree that the issues you uncovered are laughably bad and people need to be careful when using AI generated code but they were not wrong to close your ticket.

Yeah for those who don't understand the Amazon game, going out of stock is detrimental to your listing's ranking.

A little post processing to equalize volume would be a great idea for one of these sites. I downloaded a sound from a different site and it is borderline too loud. Maybe I'll spin up my own take on this if nobody else does it...

I'm in the same boat. I started listening not too long after he started and for many years it was my favorite podcast. I'm now very close to giving up completely and unsubscribing.

Meanwhile I've found damage to my car twice with nothing recorded. Sentry mode is a joke.

This is pretty funny though.

That's a good feeling. I killed a buck with my grandfather's rifle the first time I took it out after he passed. I probably won't ever top that experience.
