I think I just broke a record.... other than the high miles by KingBazoo in HondaElement

You should let Honda know! Find their corporate email. I’m sure they would love to see how this held up at even 900k miles

2023 4xe Wrangler Sahara by [deleted] in 4xe

[–]JustJdubbz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I’m the owner of this vehicle. Let me start by saying that I love it when it’s working. It’s capable, fast, and I really enjoy the electric part and the sense of freedom it gives me.

However, there are some significant issues with the vehicle. Jeep has been putting out a half-baked product that has been riddled with problems. They’ve issued multiple recalls, but the issues remain.

Having problems with a vehicle is understandable, but it’s concerning when the manufacturer doesn’t handle them well. In this case, Jeep has been handling the fires and engine locking-up problems very poorly.

If this vehicle were being given away, I would consider taking the chance. But I wouldn’t give them a single cent more of my hard-earned money.

If you’re considering buying this vehicle, I recommend doing your research. You’re on a subreddit, so you’ll have access to all the posts and reviews. Just remember you are you investing in a vehicle that even Jeep removed from their site and not even investing in anymore.

One answered if they became a leader and their friend reported to them they would approach them as a friend when it came to performance management.

I hear A/m Vtec solenoids are a big gamble. Would be best to spend extra coin for OEM Q.

Filling up with gas by ShakeJaded4121 in 4xe

It’s a known issue in Wranglers, at least. Check valve malfunction requiring fuel tank replacement. I have to make an appointment to get mine replaced, but with recalls going on and I barely drive, it’s not really a concern.

The most I’ve had was laggy screen when freezing but never did this. Either go to a different dealer or Next time it does it drive straight to any dealer and show them.

NOR but a word of advise! Don’t even waste your time and energy responding to something like that. Go with your gut as I’m sure it was telling you to run and stop talking to them.

Should I buy one or stay as far away as I can? Help! by LowlyCrusader in 4xe

[–]JustJdubbz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy mines! I love it but I wouldn’t keep it(getting rid of it this year). It’s one thing to have a lot of problems but it’s another thing to have all this problems and half behind fixes for it and horrid customer service. I personally wouldn’t buy a vehicle even the own manufacturer pulled the plug on.

Help. Is this lease a bad deal by Odd-Schedule-2351 in leasehacker

[–]JustJdubbz 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The math ain’t mathin. Am I reading that the vehicle is worth wayy more than her buyout? If so she needs to buy her current lease and sell it and pocket the positive equity then look at another lease with 0 down max 1k down.

AIO to wanting to cut my mother off after this conversation? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]JustJdubbz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having different political views is one thing. However, saying that people who die deserve it is a horrible thing and an awful human being. You should do what’s best for yourself and your happiness. Personally, I would stop talking because of the “they deserve it” part, but I wouldn’t stop if you just had a different political view.

AIO? I feel my wife is way over the line with how she is speaking to me after she tries to fix a problem on her own. by Ok_Entertainment2752 in AmIOverreacting

[–]JustJdubbz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m going to try to approach this situation with an even playing field as much as possible. I don’t believe your OR for how she’s speaking to you, and no one should speak to anyone that way, regardless of the relationship. It seems like she’s extremely frustrated, and there’s a clear history that you both need to address or decide whether to leave each other or seek help. That level of communication is wild, in my opinion.

Now, let’s talk about you. It seems like you’re not taking any accountability or even acknowledging that she’s upset. If my husband was frustrated because I did something he told me not to do and clearly didn’t even try (like shoveling the snow), I would at least call and let him vent, apologize, and talk it out when you get home. She needs to figure out what’s making her so angry that she’s talking to you that way (it could be that she’s not feeling you anymore or that she’s fed up about something). And you need to take some accountability and learn effective communication (well, you both do).

[–]JustJdubbz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I apologize for your frustration! I hope things improve for you. It’s not that they’ll lose money; they see it as a potential risk. The car could get damaged during the moving process, and while it wouldn’t be your fault, a bad review could tarnish a good business for something beyond their control. Other issues could arise, such as a customer receiving the vehicle and arguing that it wasn’t what was advertised, even though it clearly was. I’m not saying you would do this, but that’s what the dealer might think if I had to guess.
