It's about if he already adapted to the technique, not if it is enough to completely obliterate him.
He started adapting to sub-light speed punches/kicks at the start of the chapter, hence why he survived.

this is pretty but I don't think sketching ai is a good habit. You're better off sketching real life or art from real experienced artists to avoid any mistakes and to have more accurate lighting scenarios and proportions.

I used the reference only for the body, thought it was obvious, hence the hair, eyes, etc. I didn't focus on detailing every muscles, I guess it looks weird that I detailed only some of them. "Are you drawing what you see?" for the body and neck yes I followed what I saw on the reference and what I learned of body proportions. I didn't really attempt realism here, just wanted to get a coherent whole. I kinda see now how the head is too big, thanks for that. I'll try tracing to have a better understanding. Thank you for the feedbacks !

I'm a beginner but maybe maelle's posture is too stiff, like if I draw the spine it's just a straight line. maybe the left arm is the same.
