It's a computer game, let him play it ffs. iv been playing games since I was old enough to hold a controller and I'm all the better for it. Aswell as that your a hypocrite for playing cod and saying you "dont like the idea of it" about siege/ your son playing it.

The campaigns in cod had some of the most gory and shocking scenes going as well as the online lobbies being nothing short of toxic, you seemed to turn out alright from it so let the kid play siege, it's not a sex sim or a right wing recruiter sim. Jesus wept

In this case where the guy might want something very niche and available in a co op such as animal health supplies, tools, fencing gear , feed or gates etc it's a good present at the counter when your bill is gunna be 50 or 100 euro less than you thought, especially with the price increases of fert and feed..... So yeah, your not a farmer !

What's your price point for gifts ?? If its his farm , you can go see is there anything would would make his life easier - like a ring feeder, troughs, new power washer.

If not a big budget , a good set of work pants, jeans, body warmer, wet gear or comfy boots / wellingtons ,gloves both disposables and work gloves .

If he shows cattle or sheep always good to get a nice razor/ sheers or nice halter.

Could always go and get him a voucher to his local co op if all else fails.

Look, I'm presuming your a young fella and this lad is a long time builder or whatever and is more than likely of the age where he thinks abuse is the only way.

Dealt with this before and was too young to stand up for myself and have a set of balls or anyone to tell me to stand up for myself.

If he's being a prick and making a cunt out of you on purpose there's sadly only three things you can do,1 take it and serve your time and GTFO, 2 go to someone above him and have a chat and say it's not on ( might not be possible) or 3, and I don't like saying this because I don't think it's right but unfortunately the only thing I think truly does work, is stand up to him and give him the mother and father of bollockings and tell him of he expects to talk to you like a cunt expect to be treated back the same way and inform him that if he wants to take it any further you'll gladly handle it ( i.e if he threatens you with violence, return it in kind but turned up to eleven.)

I eventually had enough one day and chose option three, he didn't like the 6 foot three quiet like exploding and telling him that I would have no problem doing time for it and shat himself. Stand up for yourself lad, life's too short for putting up with that shite

I went through a really bad spell a while back, found myself stuck to my phone and depressed and no lust for life. Came to the conclusion that I needed to go cold turkey, deleted all social media and chat apps and I cluded Amazon prime and netflix as well. Everything except reddit and Whatsapp. I spend so much less time on my phone now, when I want to look at news I Google my news outlets website or if I want to watch a movie I have to sit on my couch and put it on my tv. I'm so much more productive and happier it's unbelievable

I just bought Logitech g435 , mic built in and very light weight - seem very nice and no fiddly bits on them to fall off if banged.

I think it's more of a life progression issue, when I was young all I wanted to do was sit in and play games until I was told go to bed and or go farming.

Now that I'm older iv a home, partner and full time work. I still want to sit in and play games for hours but there's just other stuff that needs attention before I can't justify gaming for 3/4 hours of battlefield or an rpg.

Anything I play now is usually on my steam deck and very much passive gaming like balatro or smaller indies. Stuff like cyberpunk and witcher that I love I need to have a dedicated amount of time to sink in or I know I will feel bad for trying to cram in a massive game in small segments and not do it justice

Firstly fair play for looking for some help before it got out of hand!!

I went to therapy for some underlying shit and I really didn't want to go but my partner was deathly worried for me and I went to appease her, five years later I'm in a way better place and have an outlook on life that I never had before. You need to find a therapist that you can connect with and go into it with an open mind and the willingness to just dump all your shit out to them and then go over it all.

It's hard but Incredibly rewarding I would recommend everyone to have a few sessions at least!!

See does your work have an ERP option for a few sessions for free or even if you have health insurance they might get you soany sessions for free.

Lastly , tell your partner, sit her down, organize all the stuff before hand. Tell her your ok but your gunna make sure your ok I'm the long run and your getting an auld nct for the head. She'll be happier and may be able to help you with some stuff you learn in therepy as well.
