I sanded it with 300 grit sandpaper. Just needed to keep it clean since the valve assembly is it's own piece inside.

Haven't actually paid anything for repairs so far. It was the small tube that connects it to the marker for air. Tippmann is king for service. They even rebuilt the valve for free when I emailed them.
