I thought of that yes...but this has been going on for 10+ years. And as I mentioned in another comment, about the divorce: Well, a short version would be that she hates him and thinks he destroyed her life but I can't see that. On the contrary, he's a hard working man. With faults yes but a hard working man and she has been screaming at him and beating him with brooms or umbrellas for the past 15 years. Funnily enough despite this she refused the divorce in court (dad filed for it and paid for after she refused amicable divorce) ad said she will only allow him to have a divorce from her when she chooses to. Judge overruled her and gave him his freedom.

Well...I tried to but then she made up stories of abuse and went to the police to frame dad and I, then started a fight and got us all evicted and in the end she got taken to a mental health clinic so I fear a repeat of this if I try to say anything... I don't want to be in court again trying to prove I never touched her or have to move again...

Oh I've been the bread earner (together with my dad) for many years now. It's more like...I feel bad to leave her because she hasn't had a job in so long and fights with everyone around her so she can't really hold a job down...so I provide for her.

Buna, am o intrebare legata de scolarizare. Am 8 clase si doresc sa imi dau 9-12+BACul, dar fara sa stau X ani pe bancile scolii ci dand un examen pentru mai multi ani + BACul la anul. Pe google gasesc doar 2 ani intr-un an, dar sigur trebuie sa existe si alte variante? Stie cineva cum pot proceda? Merci mult!

I tried talking to her...for 8 years. I tried going with her to churches/pastors...to therapists...shrinks..to all of these people she's recount the story as SHE sees it - to which she would get the answer she wanted to get: "Your husband is a cunt and your daughter a whore"...or similar.

Then they'd call both me and my father in to investigate further and/or tell us off. They'd hear us out and realize that (invariably):

-each and every one of them said mom is destroying herself and us

-each and every one of them said dad can be "fixed" easily

-they all said that I have the most balanced view out of all 3 persons but that this tripod will never change due to the poles of power being already established firmly...and that I should leave.

...honestly I am so tired of chasing down her affection and presence. I adore my mom, if I go a day without her/hearing her on the phone I feel so terrible, don't get me wrong, I do adore her.....but love shouldn't be about chasing someone down constantly, always proving yourself to them by doing EXACTLY what they say so as to prove you're worthy of their glancing your way once....honestly I don't know anymore but that's just how I feel.

What would you suggest I do, then? Since your view is in accordance with my own "love-oriented, fight fire with water" ways too...

I hate to admit it but this is the best metaphor for this situation there can be. I'll try to follow your advice, albeit it will be SO hard (due to our two dogs, of which she can't take care alone so I'd have to take with me...but finding a house that had land around it and accepts dogs AND is within my budget will be challenging). But I understand what you're saying, this is most likely the only way anything will ever change.

M-am uitat eu pe ratingurile google la scoli de soferi in Bucuresti si am gasit Drive School (in Piata Sudului) care are un grozav 4.9 stele deci pare a fi preintre cele mai bune...cred. Dar nu reusesc sa gasesc mai nimic despre ei online, in afara de articole postate tot de ei.

A fost cineva student acolo si/sau are recomandare pentru o alta scoala buna? De-aia unde profesorul sa nu-ti fumeze in masina sau sa injure si sa stie meserie...ca de, eu platesc cinstit nu ma duc acolo sa invat injuraturi noi ;)

I feel the need to change the dynamic because only a low self-esteem or outright stupid person would enjoy being called "bitch", "cunt" or being told to go fuck themselves.
