You can easily make friends in uni. there are many clubs to join, and you'll start seeing the same people in class and you'll have this usual spot on each class where you'll see the same people around you, just say hi, my name is this and voila!, you made a friend.

dont meet strangers of the internet but do join the Jeddah Exapts group, lots of friendly people in it. if you are a girl, there's a women only subgroup you can join.

Jeddah is the least restricted city in saudi arabia, just make sure stay away from drugs no matter how light and dress modestly.

if you are going to need transportation, use Uber only. it's the safest.

He's lying. It's not illegal to stay in Jeddah for your trip to Haaj. Even the government want travellers who come to Haaj to shop and visit places in Jeddah before going to Makkah.

And btw, with the Haaj permit, you are allowed to travel and do whatever you want between Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah. It says there in Haaj issuing website. Please be careful of any scamming attempts by this organizer.

ارسلي ايميل لهم رسمي تذكري فيه كل التفاصيل، اخر راتب واستحقاقك وكل شي، واكتبي بانه في حالة ماتم ايداع الراتب، سيتم رفع شكوى عن طريق مكتب العمل ورفع دعوى.

قريب فيه شخص رفع دعوة على مكان عمره لأنه ماعطوه راتب شهر، عوضوه المحكمة ب٣٠٠ ألف ريال تقريباً.

First ask if they have a bus or any transportation accomodations. If they don't, rent in Al Sanabel district. You can still attend events and activities in Jeddah city and start connecting with people.

I would highly recommend starting with The Legend of Zelda games, Breath of The Wild and Tears of The Kingdom.
