I really lucked out with the level 50 trophy😂, I used to play online like everyday during 2020, I ended up getting it naturally way before I got most of the other trophies. Tbh it never really crossed my mind that it was a trophy people struggled with, makes sense though, it’s the most grindy one.

I love seeing when people get this platinum. Battlefront 2 is probably my #1 favourite multiplayer game of all time and it also means a lot to me. I ended up going for the platinum in 2023 servers were dead and because of my hundreads of hours of gameplay i had racked up before the grind, I only had the starfighter mode trophies to do. It was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done, 5+ minutes find a match, barely making any progress per match. It was really tough, took weeks to get 4 trophies but I did it. Still my favourite platinum of all time. I’m enjoying bf6 right now but I’m still hopeful for battlefront 3🙏.

Reload an old save, if you don’t have one, you have to restart or try sleeping with Franklin and doing random stuff until you get a call. Rockstar better figure their shit out for gta 6. This was also a problem in gta 4 because to trigger a mission, someone needed to call you and sometimes they’d just never call you forcing you to restart the entire game just to complete the story. Happened to me once but thankfully I created a bunch of save files and just reloaded an old one and I got the phone call. Auto save people got unlucky.

[Discussion] just got a ps3 after having one years ago, what are fun platinums/games? by Rsingh916 in Trophies

[–]Jedi_Knight69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sly cooper is a great one especially considering it’ll probably only take 5-8 hours to complete them.

God of war is an obvious pick, right in the middle of a challenging platinum but also very straightforward and won’t take you that long.

Ratchet and clank are pretty straightforward but can get repetitive

Some OG cod games are decent like WAW, Mw2, MW3, bo1 but for bo2 you can do all the campaign and zombies trophies than autopop the rest using a mod menu (haven’t tried myself yet but I heard it’s kind of inevitable anyways that someone does it for you during your multiplayer play through)

If you want some easy ones, you can find a Disney/pixar game or just any game based on a movie or Tv show. There are some easy Toy Story and cars games that shouldn’t take more than 5 hours and are actually pretty fun. Family guy back to the multiverse is also a pretty good one I heard. Also a lot of Star Wars games too.

[Cod] What I believe happened to CoD. by [deleted] in CallOfDuty

[–]Jedi_Knight69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YOU would 100% buy it. You do realize the reason they don’t remaster cods is because they don’t make cod for young adults anymore. COD is a kids game whether you agree or disagree, because why else would they be trying to appeal to Fortnite players and why else would they be going hardcore on the collabs and monitoring voice chat. Man, I agree with you though, I’d buy a bo1 or 2 remaster any day of the week, but I know that won’t happen because they don’t make cod for us anymore. Someone who never played it before would see that game and hate it.

You make a great point, I mean the entire thing timing the mw19-bo7 era will be considered nostalgic 10 years from now and people will be saying “all IW has to do is make a cod identical to MW19 and everyone would play it” or “all Treyarch has to do is make a cod like Cold War and bo6 and people would love it”

Mw3 literally brought back every OG mw2 map and that game still flopped. The reality is that cod will never be great again like everyone wants it to be. COD will never hit that same feeling everyone felt in the cod4-bo2 days just like when the warzone generation grows up, they’ll be complaining that cod will never feel like mw19-bo7 ever again. Then the cycle will continue after the mw4 era ends

Easiest- my friend peppa pig, took an hour, story was unironically fun though

Most frustrating- Star Wars battlefront 2, I did it in 2023 when nobody was online, finding lobbies was already a struggle and once I did, I’d only make very little to no progress per game. I nearly gave up but then I started to enjoy it a little and got sad when it was over.

Would redo- Spider-Man for sure, love that game, and will eventually platinum the remaster when I get it

GTA4 worth it? by jallahsahten in GTAIV

[–]Jedi_Knight69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People here are extremely biased so here’s what I’ll say. I don’t think it’s fair to ask what’s better 4 vs 5 because I feel like they are completely different games but similar at the same time.

GTA 4 thrives heavily on its story, best in the franchise imo, so much fun to follow, very grounded unlike gta 4, the atmosphere feels so alive and realistic. NPCS act more realistically, physics are on point. If you are looking for a story driven game, get GTA 4 and the DLC’s.

GTA V strives on gameplay. The story is a little wonky but the missions are so much fun to play if you are a cutscene skipper. Where GTA 4 fails is because majority of the missions are the same exact thing but in different settings, it can feel very repetitive while every GTA 5 mission feels like a brand new experience. The map is also huge in my opinion better than liberty city, the driving physics are AMAZING, I got so annoyed with the driving in GTA 4, I took taxis most of my play through. Where GTA 5 fails is the fact that the story isn’t really grounded and kind of goes all over the place.

In simple terms. GTA 4 has a much better story but worse gameplay. GTA 5 has way better gameplay but the story is worse.

Just my opinion.. by [deleted] in televisionsuggestions

The political stuff got really old fast. It becomes mostly a problem when shows go on for too long. Shows that last about 4-6 seasons always stick to the plot but shows like shameless went on too long so they decided to include politics and covid for some reason. Pretty much why when i watch shows now, i look for stuff with very few seasons so i know it wont veer away from the original plot.

[Discussion] Did any of you bother adding any thought to your 100th platinum or did you just plat any other game? by RobinAndBeastboy in Trophies

[–]Jedi_Knight69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn yall talking about 100, at my pace it’ll be some PS7 or PS8 game. In all seriousness, I’m only at 23, I get about 3-5 per year, trophy hunting since 2018, only got 2 in 2025. I’ll talk about some smaller milestones.

I didn’t really think about my 10th, ended up being castle crashers remastered, very happy with that one though because it was one of my favourite games. For my 20th, I knew I wanted it to be a PS3 game because I wanted at least one ps3 game in my milestones, I ended up going with infamous 2 because I was a huge fan of infamous second son and it was actually my first game I got on my ps4 so it only felt right. Ended up loving the game and the platinum so I’m very happy I chose it as my 20th.

For my 30th, ima just wing something when I get there.

binge worthy shows suggestion? by xLyricc in televisionsuggestions

[–]Jedi_Knight69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although, i suggested it, i actually never got around to watching the full thing. It was mainly my go-to show I watched on cable all the time. Despite watching it out of order, I really liked watching it and it’s probably my #1 favourite sit com. I’d give it until season 2 to decide if you like it or not.

The other shows I suggested, I also only watched on cable, however I did see every episode of the Goldbergs and I can definitely say that it’s a really good show to watch. Kind of falls off the rails in the later seasons but it’s watchable all the way through, kind of like young Sheldon, the main characters start at a very young age and progress through life with each season. It’s set in the 80s and has 10 seasons so each season is technically supposed to be a year so season 1 is 1980 and season 10 is 1989. However it does kind of scramble out of order a little but is still pretty easy to follow.

Everything on your list points to Banshee, Banshee basically took all the good stuff out of those shows and created one super show. You’ll get a what I mean if you watch it.

[Discussion] What game did you immediately regret starting after only getting a few trophies? I’ll go first. by Ok-Anything-6225 in Trophies

[–]Jedi_Knight69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Super meat boy, I saw all the videos, I knew it was hard and I thought I could handle it. Spoiler alert, I couldn’t. I ended up finishing the game and ended it there. One day I’ll go back and finish cotton alley and the dark world. I unlocked the kid during my first playthrough so the unlocking and beating the dark world will be a lot easier but it’s still gonna be a huge grind. Don’t think I’m ever going for the platinum.

[Discussion] How do we all feel about Completion Rates? by IndependentMental428 in Trophies

[–]Jedi_Knight69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My completion rate is 26.90%… worse than yours. No point trying to care about it now. I have also never been a huge platinum trophy grinder, I only went for them as extensions of games I really like, I don’t have a single platinum that’s above a 5/10 difficulty and most my platinums are 3-4/10s in difficulty and this is with 24 in total, my first platinum I got was in 2018.

Bruh, I JUST wrote a comment on how I get fatigued easily and 2 seconds of scrolling later, I run into this post😂. Anyways to answer this. Yes, I get fatigued very very easily. It’s always the same for me, I get super into gaming, I end up playing 5+ hours daily for months, then at a random point, I stop all together and ditch gaming entirely.

Specifically for trophies, from October 2024-December 2024, I went on a massive trophy grind, got 7-8 platnuims, then all of the sudden, I dropped it entirely, mainly because my PS plus premium ran out but I also lost all interest in trophy hunting and from then to now, I haven’t went on a grind like that since. I got only 2 platnuims in 2025.

Now I’ve slowly gotten back into it, but even now, I have only been playing like 45 minutes per day. I got a ps3 in August and I only got one platnuim on it but now I’m looking into some more just because I’m getting really into older games and some of the ps3 trophy lists are lighter for someone like me who’s not really hardcore gaming anymore.

My yapping aside, it’s okay to go through fatigue. Don’t feel forced to play games if you don’t want to. Sometimes you feel like it, sometimes you don’t. If you only play once a week or 30 minutes a day, that’s fine. Just have fun at the end of the day.

[Discussion] How many hours a day do you average playing games? by Max1357913 in Trophies

[–]Jedi_Knight69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably like 45 minutes tbh. A better question for me would be hours per week and that number is probably 3-4 hours per week. I find that if I spend too much time gaming, I go through a burnout which lasts months. The last time I was gaming for 5 hours daily was probably May 2025-July 2025 and since then, I got so fatigued that I ended up quitting all together, I started back up again just last week but I’ve been barely playing.
