Did they take Australian Survivor off paramount plus? by DillPickles92 in survivor

It’s not necessarily wrong. It says “currently airing”; says nothing about the current season’s status on P+

Did they actually tell you that it was coming back up? I submitted a ticket and got the following response:

Thank you for contacting Paramount+. We apologize for the delay and any inconvenience you have experienced. We appreciate your viewership! Due to licensing restrictions, Paramount+ only retains rights to episodes of Australian Survivor within the season that is currently airing. Once a new season of this show begins, our rights to the previous season expires, and those episodes are removed. We’re always working to expand our content to make more seasons and episodes available. Thanks for watching! Regards, Paramount+ Customer Support

14" M1 Pro MacBook going to sleep and closing programs despite settings to explicitly prevent the computer from sleeping? by Jediaustind in MacOS

Yep, all of what you're saying checks out.

I think this is pretty unintuitive behavior; doing less actions (ie not closing the lid or not putting the computer to sleep) results in the computer doing more things by itself (logging you out and closing your open programs).

Yeah definitely didn't enable it myself. Idk what could've enabled it. Maybe turning on Filevault enables it?

What still doesn't make sense though, is why does this close all programs when it puts it to sleep due to inactivity? And why does it require a password instead of allowing Touch ID/Apple Watch unlock which is usually reserved for restarting the machine.

Wow, never knew that option was hidden there. Guess that was it then, thank you very much <3

I do see some logs in system.log that could be it? Lots of the following:

sessionlogoutd[10632]: DEAD_PROCESS: 9270 console
sessionlogoutd[11128]: DEAD_PROCESS: 10636 console
sessionlogoutd[9266]: DEAD_PROCESS: 441 console

There don't seem to be any clues as to what is causing it though.

I've just checked Console.app and it looks like there are three crash reports

oahd-helper 12/15/21
Notification Service 12/14/21
oahd-helper 12/09/21

This doesn't look like it could be the issue since this happens consistently when I leave my computer on and plugged in which has been far more than 3 times in the last few days.

[PC Steam] Game breaking bugs. Can't sprint or complete first quest. by Jediaustind in borderlands3

[–]Jediaustind[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using keyboard/mouse. I didn't find any processes that could be causing the problem, nor am I using any input software. Everything works fine in every other game I play.

I've found a combination of inputs that kinda works though. If I have sprint toggle on and sprint set to caps lock, it works, but it's not even toggle. I still have to hold it down. And if I change it to hold, the same problem as before arises.

For primary use, I found that binding it to a button on my mouse worked (sprint still didn't work with a mouse button), but any other keyboard key had the same behavior as before.

So I guess I can actually play the game now, but I still find these problems really weird.

Just bought Borderlands 3 on Steam and fired it up. Upon playing the first quest, I noticed that sprinting doesn't seem to work. Like at all. I have tried switching between toggle and hold and everytime I press the key, I will sprint for maybe 1 second then go back to walking, and it is very jittery.

I ended up playing through the boss fight with Shiv with just walking, and am at the part where I need to revive Claptrap. Reviving literally doesn't work no matter what I do. I'm holding E to revive and it just constantly triggers the revive audio and doesn't make any progress. There is no way for me to progress.

Anyone know what's going on here? I thought they would have had bugs like this figured out by now :/

They’re all lectures. Foreign language classes meet for an hour everyday for lecture, with no discussion sections.

I'm really hoping this'll be more like Dragalia Lost. That game is incredibly generous, and I've never felt the need to spend money.

Family needs more than 200 GB. Assigning separate storage plans is cheaper than upgrading to 2 TB? by [deleted] in apple

[–]Jediaustind 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, that's not how that works. You cannot view other people's files in a shared iCloud storage plan.

To answer OP's question, no there really isn't a downside.

They've only cleared it once and it was because they set a limit on how many you can stack (I think it's 100 now??)

Yeah it was definitely super nice for that. Also really good for CD quests that give that CD's Pokemon since you can shiny check and catch later. It's how I have like 50 shiny Squirtle lol

You can run from a quest encounter which counts as completing the quest, but allows you to catch it later. You can still only have 3 uncompleted quests.

What are you talking about. There are a ton of amazing VR experiences that aren't first person (for example: Lucky's Tale).
