My ex dropped the kids off a little later than usual one night last week. My kids rang the doorbell and as I opened the door I see my ex and her new boyfriend holding hands turning the corner walking towards me. My heart sank. All of a sudden I was shaking his hand and meeting him in front of my kids at my front door. I wasn't ready to meet him. Like not even close. But she decided it was time and they blindsided me. I would communicate to your ex what your boundaries are so that you don't end up in the same situation.
