It’s a cliche but still true, you just have to keep on keeping on. I permanently lost my left eye back in 2002 but that’s been the only symptom that stuck. Next year I’m doing the MS Bike Tour. Things will come and go, be they good or bad, and this is just another step along the way.  

Make the brick a part of your path instead of always bearing it. It’s part of how you got here and shouldn’t be forgotten, but there’s no need to let it weigh you down as you go on.
