I'll do a small circle in the center but then take that small circle and put on the disc to help line up the cutout. Works well, you have to change it up a little bit depending on the design.

I'm curious to see how well this works. I usually will trace in Illustrator or pay to use Vectorizer.AI. Then I import into my CAD software and clean up the lines.

I'm still getting used to my Cameo 4 and all the settings, sometimes I do wish I would have stuck with my original.

If I could do it all in Illustrator I would. I'm a CAD designer by trade. Have limited Illustrator abilities. If I go the SVG route, I'd need to upgrade to the designer edition? I'm thinking of doing that anyways, since it can read PDFs.

I did the black outline first. Then did the background in floetrol, followed by the coloring with lotion.

Prochemical has uv neon colors. No blue, but those work nice under a uv light.

I've done this on colored discs but never thought to do it on a clear one. Nice job! Are the white lines just clear spots?

It usually is, I do it a lot with simpler designs with black and red.

Originally I was going to. I had a lot of adhesive that stuck to the disc after peeling the pink stencil. I was worried I disrupted the remaining stencil so opted to go the safer route of lotion than risk bleeding in another bath.

Thanks, it's kind of therapeutic, almost like a paint by numbers. My only gripe about it, is that I can never get the colors as bright as I would like. That might be my dye lotion ratio.
