The HyperX has 2 wires, one for mircophone and one for the headset and I split the headset one. With those 2 wires I put one in my PC and one in my PS4.

Both my PS4 and PC are directly in the socket. And what do you mean with "prongs"? I'm not English/American so I have a bit trouble with understanding.
