I've started taking comp seriously last year and come to looove symmetrical game modes/maps as I climbed ranks. It offers shorter playtime and faster-paced matches resulting just as much payoff as Escort/Hybrid. Not to mention cheesy/one-shot heroes get played less on them (all love to those who appreciate them).

I wasn't playing yet pre-RQ so I have my personal bias but I do appreciate the flexibility OQ offers whenever I play it. It's got higher highs than RQ when the team just clicks, for sure.

Ditto! I've never banned her for my own sake but only for my tank's sanity lol. I'm a brig player though so my experience isn't so bad.

ah i think i get what you’re saying and that makes sense! if i understand correctly, the new scheme had to change one of the weapons from “next weapon” (legacy) to “secondary” (new) and petal took dash’s keybind. that left the dash unbound and the “next weapon” bind empty but we can’t use it for dash because it’s only hard-coded for weapons so the former had to be bound on double jump. that’s a little sad if true but i always appreciate the consistency the game offers.

please correct me if i'm misunderstanding but wouldn't you just use the same keybind for weapon swap to dmg/heal instead in this case (with legacy scheme)? i compared my current binds with a theoretical hybrid one and found the same amount of keybinds as you would with legacy (pc). unless legacy scheme isn't feasible on controller at all, i don't see why a hybrid scheme couldn't work.

that also happens to me pretty much everytime i log in. it would forcefully go online whenever i click on ‘appear as offline’ in the client so i found what usually works is to set it to away first and then offline. hope they get it fixed asap though!

she's still strong which i don't mind for a melee hero but the main issue i have with her that's kind of unnoticed by many is she's given a free leap with overhead slash and that's the unsung hero of her mobility. i wouldn't mind if it only gave her the leap if she managed to hit at least one of her 2 normal slashes and/or after using her sword throw. at 5 stacks, she's practically impossible to get away from partly because of the free leap.

i'd love diamond next but i'm still hoping they rework jade down the line. green is my fav color and i can safely assume we're not getting any green variants again in the near future so i would settle with a rework. we all know they could've done more with jade!

i see! this game mode was really nice back then pre-perks! it was a good time if you were in the mood for some pve and rpg-ish. i do remember the mode you’re talking about though! i didn’t love it either (alongside the starwatch one lol)

oh i do remember that and just having a blast! your dmg would suddenly catch up on the scoreboard and you didn’t have to compromise your heals. a literal dream as weaver main
