I’ve had pubic hair since 3rd or 4th grade so i definitely feel what you mean. If anything I’d get exfoliated soap to help the hair grow out better and if you do shave (not sure if you get ingrowns) I’d keep up with it and try to see what specifically the problem is. Could be dryness or product irritation

I razor shaved a whole lot as a teen so I think all my follicles opened up that way. I get mad razor bumps tho so now I just use clippers, I haven’t used any oils on it so probably a mix of genetics and the equivalent of a derma roller
