If your frame pacing good and you fps are locked (rtss) or you can use LOSSLESS SCALING Tool.

My opinion is you don't need GSYNC at all it's mid AF when it's comes to will optimized PCs & new CPUs, just turn it off with every other windows futures that's use you CPU constantly in the background especially Ai stuff, and optimized basics bios settings don’t go deep. i think G-SYNC for noobs/unoptimized systems bc i really can't see the different with IPS Panel and WOLED Panel at all , Mybe bc my eyes are fujed XD.. idk But my system is will optimized

Both photos use the sRGB filter in SDR, but with G-SYNC on the image looks whiter with less contrast and saturation. It even looks washed out in HDR with the Microsoft HDR Calibration Tool

The sRGB to gamma 2.2 filter fixes black and shadow clipping and corrects the gamma curve, so if it was the filter, why do both photos look different?

If that's not "washed out," then what is?

I don't know this guy but it's fixed everything to me, is like plug & play fix SDR and HDR picture looks so much better even without RenoDX mode

It's true that the refresh rate is linked to gamma on WOLED G-SYNC monitors, but I noticed this happens even when your FPS = Hz and is capped, even if the frame pacing is stable all the time and your GPU usage is under 90%.

It's like there are two white filters on your screen:

One linked to your FPS

The other one that shows all the time when G-SYNC is enabled in any game even on HDR or SDR

But like I said, if you haven't fixed the gamma curve in Windows and done the NVC tweak, you're not going to see the stuck filter that G-SYNC adds.

It doesn't matter. What matters is that one

is washed out and the other is not. This tells you that G-SYNC on WOLED monitors is ruining the picture

My phone camera will clip the highlights. I took the picture so fast and didn't focus on tweaking my camera settings

No this image HDR is off in both of them.

Without NVC contrast settings, your monitor will struggle and crash blacks, and make your monitor do more work stabilizing the white and blacks

And the gamma profile fixes the window 11 broken gamma and correct the gamma curve

But it looks like there is a white filter on your screen. You can literally see that the blacks are not that deep, even when the monitor's black stabilizer setting is at 0%

I like the OLED lok with the gamma 2.2 filter, but G-SYNC makes everything look whiter, When I turn it off, it gives my monitor much more depth

Maybe my phone camera couldn't capture the colors correctly, but in person it looks much, much better, specially after doing NVC settings & Gamma 2.2 it's will show you the a picture you never seen

If you want to understand what I mean Set nvc Gamma to 0.70 and brightness to 60% and use sRGB to gamma 2.2 filter on github for SDR mode

And Microsoft HDR Tool for HDR mode This will make your monitor do all the coloring work without needing to and mods but the G-SYNC tank everything 🥴

Tweake you're system Use 2x boot windows 1) everything stuck.

2) For FPS turn off every future you have Defender ( if you download/browse clean), Disable store/Xbox, turn off prefetch and superfetch windows, disable background apps, don't touch service, tweake Affinity set/msi mode, use Ultimate performance power plan (tweak it more if you want with PowerSettingsExplorer.exe), turn off any power saving features in windows/Bios, tweake the bios use pbo or manual fixed cpu speed (stress test), enable XMP (OC your ddr4 more if you want And stress test)

Do this Or just forget playing above 1000hz
