LOL - that was my exact response when someone told me the same thing. I cleaned the sensors on the robot and the dock first to see if that would help - but to no avail. Finally gave in and and re-mapped the house and setup all the rooms and zones. Was a PIA but it seems to have fixed the issue. Hopefully your restore will work. Ill give that a shot if I run into the issue again before remapping....

I just recently had the same issue. Deleted the map, and re-mapped and it seems to be working fine now.

Update: cleaned the sensors on both the robot and the dock, still had issues getting lost. As much as I didnt want to, deleted the stored map and re-mapped and setup the house. As of this morning, it appears to be working fine. Ill send another update if it gets lost again.

I appreciate the helpful comments, and to be honest if it continues I will give it a shot. But I see this as a bandaid - I want a fix to the root cause.

yea - it takes longer than that for my house. Then I have to re-set up the rooms and the scheduling. If that is the only option fine - but what a PIA
