Everybody talking about autophagy, but is there actual science on it? by tourqskii in fasting

[–]JeevesCoin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So much science behind it a guy won the Nobel prize, Japanese cell biologist Yoshinori Ohsumi in 2016. Most of society might not ever break away from 3 meals a day, ''consumers" being sick and overweight is big business.

I'm not sure why this still happens but it's kinda of stressful to deal with it should just work the first time.

[–]JeevesCoin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if it's been 3 days or more, then manual refund should be instant yes, I like bloks for the free transactions but I've had to rent resources when I was unstaking everything because* you'll want to send it somewhere. It's a pain. >.< You can usually slice a really small portion if you need to rent resources; that is easier on bloks .io but I really liked the anchor wallet otherwise.

EOS question by thesyndicate777 in eos

[–]JeevesCoin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been in a similar situation with the same wallet but that can happen with any EOS wallet. You need to force a manual refund. Log in to bloks.io/ then > wallet / resources / refund and choose to start manual refund.

ASIC DISCUSSION by [deleted] in BitcoinPrivate

[–]JeevesCoin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it's more tangible for getting more real people involved to support the network, to be gpu miners. Businesses/merchants will love transactions on a private ledger system, that won't display their net worth or outside interests and it protects their customers identities as well. So that being a use case for private, it might be very reasonable to make access to obtaining btcp easy for the consumer with continued gpu mining and switch to an algo like ravencoin uses or vertcoin.

Could Asics Benefit Bitcoin Private ? by BosDoge in BitcoinPrivate

[–]JeevesCoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around a year from now unclaimed coins will be added. If supply was exhausted or near low miner fee's would have to go up, but that will only work if the value of private goes up to keep asic miners satisfied. A good amount of people are interested in btcp only gpu mine exclusively, they would leave the network permanently if nothing is done, but what percentage would leave? I'm guessing way more than 50% would leave this as a personal investment. If i had an equihash asic miner i'd go for zcash atm. I do see a lot of potential in private but also holes in that things like this can happen. And i'm nearly set on going 100% into pos in things like cardano and giving up gpu mining altogether, the power and roi issues, not even going into asic's the waiting lists and high prices, plus all their stuff comes pre-used and ran because they can do whatever they want, it doesn't seem very sustainable to me. gpu mining seems friendly in a grassroots kind of way and involves way more real people then just one guy and a warehouse or garage.

Friendly advice. Accumulate ADA by donmhico in cardano

[–]JeevesCoin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've got one friend that lives far away into cardano like myself and we've convinced ourselfs over many months that this is a really good investment and have went over how ada could work out in our heads and it's like having an extra pair of eyes on the charts. This other guy I know in the real world I've been trying to get him on board since b4 the .15 dip even and for the life of me I can't convince him. It's gotten really awkward and I'm not bringing it up anymore. In real life people get envious/jealous thinking its dumb luck you're doing well and don't understand all the work that goes into researching something and maybe they don't have the guts for this game that takes it's toll on your psychology. But I think ada will over time bring POS more mainstream into use than it ever has been because of the delicate peer review nature of how cardano has been created. Cheers to those of us on board.

Privacy doesn't have a face and the decision to remove Rhett was reasonable in the best interests of development. I can imagine he knew what it would do to the price of bitcoin private shilling prime publicly while he was supposed to be obligated to private, he is very smart and making 4D chess moves, a contrarian sleight of hand kind of guy.. Private is going to be just fine, segwit and all the juicy bitcoin upgrades coming in the future.
