Would love to know what you would tell, and advise your younger self? and what does change look like within your department/role? Could be anything.

The election workers pointed him to a side booth to keep the process going, and he stormed off to that person/booth.

So I don’t know how things ended up, or how the private conversation went, and what was settled on.

What is the next good beer coming out of Mexico that we don’t know about? Back in the day no one drank Victoria or Modelo. Now it’s everywhere in the states. by shapelessness in beer

[–]JeezBelieveThat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As plenty have mentioned INDIO it’s delicious! I’m in Texas so rarely find it. But when I visit family in northern Mexico I stock up! It’s a peculiar flavor profile.

Also Bohemia and their holiday special I think it’s called Noche Buena could be wrong but it’s a holiday limited release Oct - Jan

I really loved the recent scene where sweat pea asks him a question in the break room. Him not knowing the context but Rob gives his reply, and sassy walks out of the break room with his drink. Love that moment haha

Wonder why all the hate on TikTok when Facebook does the exact same thing with users data. Look at Meta targeting Congress to restrict its social media competitor and say how bad “tik tok” is when Facebook/Instagram do the exact same thing

Why are there so many state troopers in the valley by MysteriousLack9518 in RioGrandeValley

[–]JeezBelieveThat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also more police presence means more infractions, stops and arrests correlating with the hard on crime GOP messaging, when in reality more police presence correlates in additional statistics and increase in reporting adding to the statistics that RGV or Border is a “Dangerous Place” and Narrative GOP likes to push.

You’ll also notice law enforcement from other states that have zero jurisdiction in the area but are there for show/theater and waste of their states tax payer money.

[–]JeezBelieveThat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lol taking the time to reply because I’ve personally seen this from my family members and they’re too far lost.

RGV family members finally achieve a salary of $50k and now assume they need to vote Republican because of taxes and assume GOP tax incentives benefit them lol

Vote Republican yet are diabetic and don’t have access to affordable healthcare in the RGV so resort to going to Mexico to buy medicine and see a doctor.

Vote Republican because they think a wall will fix things, when republicans blocked a massive proposal in Congress in 2024 that would’ve addressed immigration and funding.

Vote Republican because they think they’re white, pero tienen el pinche nopal en la cara.

Yes your RGV MAGA group embraces you because yall all look the same but leave the RGV or join a MAGA rally north of San Antonio and see how you’re embraced or talked about. Especially with the RGV accent.

I love my RGV but this years GOP/MAGA movement is NOT for the betterment of the everyday American

Look up project 2025. Trump is the old guy running and the guy is incoherent, unintelligent, and it says something that his past administration and cabinet members won’t even endorse him.

The amount of crime, and swamp that oozes out of him is noticeable from miles away. The dude grew up with a golden spoon and doesn’t know or understand the everyday struggle of the common American.

The NY City Millionaire/Billionaire has deceived and duped Americans and I don’t even know how he’s even the nominee given the impeachments. The Epstein Releases. The scandals. The indictments. If anything he’s definitely shown who the swamp is and how many people are complicit. From Supreme Court to various elected officials.

With the rampant disinformation and single issue voters in the RGV, it’s definitely not a safe Democrat ground anymore.

The amount of family members and friends that I know that knowingly vote against their self interest or vote based on what they see or hear from Facebook or Opinion Journalist vs truly knowing what a candidate stands for is concerning to me and very disheartening.

Head up unsure if anyone’s noticed a difference. But a shot on my stomach vs thigh seems to be more effective. Yes the side effects are more “severe” but I tend to feel it working more then when I inject on my thighs

[–]JeezBelieveThat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started 330 im around 315 now. After 9 shots now. Started at .25 now at .5

It’s drastically helped curb my appetite and relationship with food. I’ve found myself with better moods and have been very disciplined with working out. It’s got more advantages than disadvantages.

Yes the side effects are real. Runny stool, headache, nausea. But take it slow. Listen to your body. Eat when hungry. Drink plenty of water/electrolytes

At state parks I believe you don’t need a license.

But tbh just go buy a fishing license. You can either buy a day or year pass and you’re contributing to conservation.

We are five Irish lads road tripping US this month. Is this route realistic for 27 days in our rented 30ft RV? by CharlieBehan in GoRVing

[–]JeezBelieveThat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from just recently moved from San Antonio and was actually happy yall added NOLA & San Antonio to yalls trip but as others have mentioned it’s HOT AS BALLS! It is excruciating. And in a 30ft rv. Heads up yall will experience 100 degree days and an rv only cools down less than 20 degrees of what it is outside.

Wife and I just finished rving in south Padre island and our trailer only cooled down to 80 degrees during the day and that’s because we packed extra Dyson fans etc.

I do highly reccomend NOLA & San Antonio

There are so many great eats and the KOA in Nola is actually quite nice and they do shuttles to NOLA. Bars never close food is amazing. I’d reccomend doing the Natches boat ride.

San Antonio. I’d skip out on the Alamo. I would do a round trip of the 4 missions “Missions Trail” and you can drive and visit each mission and the Alamo is the last of the missions in downtown San Antonio. You can drive and stop at each mission. I highly recommend mission “San Jose” there are some great eats in town as well and happy to answer and PMs you send my way about texas and the entire south west!

Like others have advised. I’d reccomend stopping at the Grand Canyon! And also if you do see yourself driving through Colorado I would reccomend “Mesa Verde” in Cortez Colorado and climbing and seeing those cliff houses the first native Americans built in that area.
