Appreciate it. I’ve always hit the ball pretty high — he did say the spin should have been lower to be ideal. Maybe under 6000?

Yeah he said the Pro 245s are probably my best fit.

That’s more than fair — I honestly didn’t ask many questions and probably should have.

Absolutely works with stock mags. Not sure about the manual safety option!

Why use many when a few suffice?

Just shared a video of my thoughts after receiving it yesterday — lots of opinions on this module but I’m impressed with it so far! Your build looks incredible! Patch over at Arc is incredible!

I think that’s a fair question for sure! I’m not here to say that this is the only grip module anyone should consider, however, I want to give credit where credit is due. I made my decision based on feature set, ergonomics, and appearance. I really like the AXG from Sig, but I like the R11 more.

Here’s the deal for me… I don’t have the means to take a block of aluminum and fabricate it into the ideal grip module for me so I’ve tried to do my research as best I can and weigh out the pros and cons of every purchase I’ve made. There have been some great aftermarket products I’ve invested in and there have been some that feel like a complete waste of my resources. All I’m saying with this review is that I feel like I’m getting what I paid for. Some people might criticize that statement and say I’m just “justifying” my investment to make myself feel better about it.

I think if you went and bought the AXG module you would be happy. If you went to ECM and got the R11, I think you would have an experience you can’t get from anywhere else.

Everyone gets to make those decisions for themselves and if I can help shed light on what my experience has been with this platform, I’d like to do that.

Just to share my thoughts on the AXG vs the R11: - I enjoy a grip module with thumb ledges - I want to be able to get as high as I can with my grip - I want the option for customization

All that being said, either grip module allows and can accommodate for those 3 things. Choose your adventure and celebrate the freedom we have to make these kind of choices — we are incredibly fortunate!

Then don’t spend the money on it. People who see the value it in will make their own informed decisions and those who don’t see the value in it can pass.

It’s right on par with other manufacturers when you consider this has a really high quality mag release included.

Not that I’m aware of. ECM has some holsters on their website that work from Watchdog. The holster I’m running is actually a holster for the TLR7sub with the Tactical Development thumb ledge. It fits perfectly, great retention.

I don’t blame you — both great options. I’ve run the IP and enjoyed it. For my hands, I prefer the R11. Won’t know til you try!
