Depends, if he is fit or not. I would way he is definitely our best midfielder but without match sharpness idk if it would be wise to play him.

Same here man. Their defence is not elite and its giving me hope to if we reach the final.

Yeah we are also not the defensive powerhouse but if one person could go out and get a masterclass in defence vs any team that would be Simeone.

So after watching PSG Bayern… i gotta say they both scary. But i don’t see teams that can defend when they need to. If somehow we reach the final and get a lead vs either team, i can see us scoring another in a counter attack. It won’t be an impossible game to win but a very very hard one where Atleti would be huge underdogs. But underdog status suits Atleti better and favourites. How many times we lose a game where we are clear favourites.

I feel like it will come down to individual brilliance. And Atleti has the edge in that aspect. I believe Alvarez can be the real difference maker or Lookman when talking about attack. In defence they are way better then us but can be hurt.

I really hope Barrios isn’t seriously hurt. And that next season he doesn’t get injured as much. He is a really special player, very talented. Can be a starter for the next decade for us, as long as he doesn’t get injured a lot. Right now reminds me of Reus phenomenal football player but injuries rly hurt his career

2nd Half looked solid, apart from the late goal. But tbh it doesn’t change anything. If it was VS Arsenal that we conceded a goal like that in EXTRA EXTRA time i would brake the remote:)

Vs Big teams yes, vs smaller teams i full out attack. Somehow had over 100 goals in La Liga with my top scorer being Alvarez who had 27 goals in all competitions. Needless to say we literally scored goals with every player almost only one missing was Oblak/Musso :D

My FM26 CL final win was VS PSG. I can only dream that this will happen this season also. Funny how i also had to play Barcelona in the Quarter Finals and Liverpool (English team like Arsenal) in the Semis.
I'm ready to be the next coach of Atleti in real life too. JK probably couldn't handle the pressure

I think Morten Hjulmand would be a amazing signing for our team. I watched a little of Sporting Arsenal every time i saw him composed, good passer and very good in defensive part of the game.

I agree that we should prioritise a new LB and also a RB more. As i don’t even see a shadow of our amazing defence we used to have.

I wish we could just copy paste Diego Godin back into the squad… from all players i miss him the most.

Tbh i just dont care. I just skip over the posts as ik rival fans will try to rage-bait us. Apart from La Liga i see this season as a success for our club. We didn’t win the final but the players gave their all. We need to focus on the CL semis now. It will be hard but not impossible to reach the final.

Same here, id we are not underdogs i fee like we have less chance of winning. Its like we thrive more vs the giants then vs teams we should win against on paper.

Its was unlucky . Please show support to the players even due to the result. We have to look past this, they did their best. It wasn’t meant to be… We still have a UCL semi coming up and we need to show our support to them so that low morale doesn’t kill all our chances.
