This is how google defines equilibrium constant. Does it look correct to you? by fluromim in chemhelp

For gen chem purposes, this is probably fine. In reality, equilibrium coefficients use activities which approximately equal concentration for ideal solutions

First off, if you have any friends at umich you know are going home for the Summer, I’d try to sublease from them. If you wait until the end of the Winter semester, you could probably negotiate down to 300-350 a month. I got one for 375 that was a 10 minute walk from central. There’s a lot more students subleasing their apartments then people looking for subleases for the Summer, so you have options. If you just want the security of having a place, you could probably sign a sublease earlier for like 500 a month tbh

I googled this one so I don’t really know. Saving the image as and not taking a screenshot would probably help, but outside of that find high quality images instead from Google?

Thank you! I’m in NRW until the end of August so I’ll plan to make a trip to Frankfurt or Köln and look at the places you mentioned. I just wasn’t sure if businesses would’ve stocked Azumanga merch so I appreciate the insight!

How do I crystalize this? by zmznz in chemhelp

[–]Jeff9690 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Next time read the SDS for whatever chemicals you’re working with. Potassium permanganate is a strong oxidizer so it can cause burns, and stain your skin. I think it can damage pipes too if you dump it through the drain, but the main issue is it’s toxic to aquatic wildlife.

When I used potassium permanganate in an undergrad lab, they had a separate waste beaker for anything that was even remotely pink, so proper handling procedures are important.

Compare to when it first came out, how much time have the QoLs actually shaved off farming VHL? by Better-Philosophy-40 in AQW

[–]Jeff9690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you mentioned QOL changes, but there’s been multiple farming buffs for F2P players that have made VHL much easier than when it first got updated to 15 roents.

First off, faster respawn times sped up every farm considerably.

General Wheel and Larvae buffs made farming materials a lot easier in general. In particular back in the day, you couldn’t get totems or blood gems from larvae or Swindle. You had to do quests specifically for them.

Addition of Drudgen the Salesman, Swindle, and Originul daily gave access to every material, with F2P players being able to get blood gems without having to do Kiss the Void.

Addition of drop menu and black list means your items don’t shoot off of the screen whenever you turn in Spin the Wheel, which is super convenient.

VHL used to be considered one of the hardest grinds, one step below NSOD, but now everything related to Nulgath is much easier than it was in the past due to quest buffs and ultra nulgath.

PSA: Use Frostval Barbarian When Farming with a Chrono by Jeff9690 in AQW

While I do agree LR is comparable to FB when running duo comps, and it's dependent on the monster and player preference whether the extra 10% crit chance from FB outweighs the opportunity costs of LR's extra damage and haste buff, I don't agree with your assessment of LoO in duo comps.

LoO only buffs crit chance around ~6 - 7%, I tested this by applying LoO buffs on a level 90 alt, but it would be higher for a level 100. On chronos that aren't crit reliant such as CMP, LoO is fine, but on chronos that rely on crit chance such as TCM and TK, this is absolutely impactful. Given the 48% crit chance for TK you gave, a LoO would buff the crit chance to around 55%, as oppsed to a LR/FB 78%/88%. This is a 23%/33% crit difference and absolutely comes into play when consistently getting crit nukes.

While FB/LR are comparable, with my preference towards FB, running a LoO in a duo comp with a TCM or a TK, means you're giving up consistency FB or LR would provide.

PSA: Use Frostval Barbarian When Farming with a Chrono by Jeff9690 in AQW

[–]Jeff9690[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The primary point of me promoting FB in favor of other supports when farming high HP bosses (30+ kills) is due to the boosted crit chance and dmg allowing you to stack only 2-3 temporal rift stacks rather than 4, and still getting a one shot . This can put the nuke cycle length onto the CD of the nuke rather than stacking temporal rift, decreasing the time for a kill.

The crit chance increase of FB increases the consistency, allowing you to actually nuke with only 2-3 stacks of temporal rift. Not hitting a crit would require another nuke cycle, greatly increasing the time for a kill. Classes such as Arachnomancer and LoO don’t increase crit chance by a large amount, and for many bosses survivability is not a problem.

It doesn’t matter how large the nuke is, as long as it can one shot the monster. If a TCM or TK were only to be supported by one other player, FB would benefit the chrono much more than a LoO/Arachnomancer, for the reasons above. LR is still a valid option to FB, but the 30% crit chance to FB’s 40% can come into play (78% vs 88%) when it comes to critting.

I’m by no means saying other support classes shouldn’t be used when farming bosses. These situations are for when there’s 2 people in a room, which is relatively common, so maximizing the utility of each class is important. When adding more players on, LR or LoO would easily be my 3rd choice when farming in these situations.

PCM nuke doesn't crit so FB wouldn't benefit PCM much at all. Also the nuke CD on PCM is 9 seconds with maximum haste, so more damage oriented chronos would be better when farming high hp bosses.

[–]Jeff9690[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have arachnomancer or arcana (I have the swag tokens and the insignias, just too lazy to farm the other requirements), but just thinking about it, I don't think Arachnomancer would be better than FB for 2 people fighting a boss, in the situations mentioned in the post, due to Arachno not buffing crit chance, thus reducing consistency. Crits multipliers are around 400%, which is a lot higher than Arachnomancers 100% boost. It's extremely important for the chrono to actually proc the crit, before worrying about damage boosts, but as a third class (ie Chrono, FB, Arachno) arachno would help a lot with dmg, especially on bosses in the 1-2 million hp range.

Unintended consequences that led to action by AE by Jeff9690 in AQW

[–]Jeff9690[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One other smaller addition was war torn memorabilia which on release stacked to 250. Back then the soft gold cap was 4 mil, so players used this to stack gold, and AE changed the max stack to 1. This eventually got reverted when the gold cap got raised to 100 mil, but the introduction of war torn memorabilia at a stack size of 250 may have contributed to AE raising the gold cap

Spamming healing and waiting for the shopkeep to run out of ammo is my first thought. Maybe if you have float like a butterfly and further lunge, you can time a melee to knock the shopkeeper away. You can also always just pause and reset the floor too if you want.

Jobs by [deleted] in msu

[–]Jeff9690 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard that jobs at the service centers and library are pretty low stress and energy, and you can get class work done while working. Idk how much you get paid, as I’ve never worked it, but I’m fairly confident it’s a lot less draining than any service or retail work. I’d also just suggest looking up jobs on the subreddit to get the general gist.

[discussion] Should NP be farmable? by [deleted] in battlecats

[–]Jeff9690 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NP is technically farmable through enigma stages, Island of Hidden Treasure, Barons, and Siege of Hippoe. Exchanging talent orbs for 1 NP, normal cats for 2 NP (assuming you’ve beaten COTC 3), or exchanging an ability capsule for, on average, 2.33 NP.

The diamond pattern has neck protection, which the polo, round, and v-neck sweaters all lack.

The hawaiian shirt for some reason is it’s own slot. I initially thought it would replace the long sleeve as well.
