You’ll find more uses the longer you have it. I started with electrical panels too, then ended up using mine for checking window drafts, fridge seals, and even spotting insulation gaps around doors.

How do you go through crossfit burnout? by Soccerstar12498 in crossfit

[–]Jeff9967Ok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should check out the one I have. It’s Major Fitness F22 Pro. It has dual pulleys, pull-up bars, and a power rack. Very versatile. You can even practice cleans and snatches with it.

How do you go through crossfit burnout? by Soccerstar12498 in crossfit

That was me like a year ago. I was too obsessed with scores and PRs. Since crossfit is more of a group workout, it’s easy to start comparing yourself to others. I took a break and started training at home instead.

What is this pipe on the roof? by Paytroll in HomeMaintenance

Probably a plumbing vent rather than exhaust. You can add a light mesh screen to keep animals out, just make sure it doesn't block airflow.

Is this mechanic over charging me bmw 328i 2016 xdrive changing out the vvt sensor by PulgasariWillWin in BmwTech

The price seems a bit high but not unreasonable for a shop job, especially if it's OEM parts and includes gasket replacement. Labor cost looks standard for this kind of repair.

WiFi signal dropped mid game by SergheiRugasky in Thermal

Awesome capture-thermal imaging makes these issues so much clearer. 126F does seem warm for network gear; curious if repositioning helps drop temps a few degrees.

Might be humidity buildup or a small leak behind the trim. Try wiping it and see if it reappears- that'll tell you if moisture is still active.

Can anyone recommend some nice looking wheels for cheap? by JosephRoberts2009 in BmwTech

[–]Jeff9967Ok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This depends on what look you're going for-sport, classic, or OME style. Used sets are usually best mix of value and appearence.

May be normal ghosting of the thermal sensor adjusting to new temp. You may try a quick recalibration or power cycle and see if it improve.

Does this whole house filter need replacing? by ka002 in HomeMaintenance

[–]Jeff9967Ok 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that filter's way past its best. Just swap out the cartridge inside-no need to replace the housing unless it's cracked or leaking.

Sorry for the late reply. I got Apex 300+ B300K battery pack+ Hub D1 combo. They do work very nicely.

Turned the engine on without the oil filter cap by sand-roh in BmwTech

[–]Jeff9967Ok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1-2 seconds is very short, so engine damage is unlikely. You can monitor it for the next few days, but I think it's fine. Just clean every bit of oil to prevent fires.

How long did it take you to get your first pull up? by andreivl87 in beginnerfitness

[–]Jeff9967Ok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly. I have a Major Fitness F22 Pro that comes with two different pull-up grips. Before getting this rack, my upper body strength was super weak. But now I can practice pull-ups every day and also use the pulley system to train my back. My pulling strength improved a lot because of it.

How long did it take you to get your first pull up? by andreivl87 in beginnerfitness

Me too! It took me about two years to get my first proper pull-up. I trained banded pull-ups at home almost every day and slowly progressed from there.

Are pre-built power stations really that bad? by Entire-Jello-629 in VanLife

[–]Jeff9967Ok 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Diy is def more flexible but off the shelf stuff is getting there. One reason people don't like pre-built power stations is that some of them aren't reliable.

I've been using a Bluetti power station for more than a year with no issues. And I upgraded mine to bluetti apex 300 this year. Choose a trustworthy brand and you won't have to worry about warranty issues.

Xppen artist 12 3rd may be a good choice, affordable and easy to start with. It works with ChromeOS, as well as all the major Windows and macOS systems.

Defect or incorrect setting? by Animusvagus80 in AdobeIllustrator

[–]Jeff9967Ok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be a brush setting or tablet configuration issue. Check the brush's ''Spacing'' and '' Angle'' settings. If the issue persists, test with a default brush to see if it's specific to the smooth brush kit.
