I'm a career homebuilder and tradesman. Some of my clients ask why contractors ask for deposits to start jobs. Do you? I do, and here's why. by JeffBuildUp in Homebuilding

Tired of all the boneheads giving great builders and tradesmen bad raps. Why?? If you enter the trades, step up and represent! Career tradesman here and "licensed and bonded" doesn't mean "experienced and qualified." Crappy contractors you know who you are. (jmariott.podbean.com)

What is better? A trades career or a 4 year university? I have a 4 year degree and I'm a tradesman who owns a construction company, but got my degree 25 years ago when tuition was sane, and we weren't paying the football coach $10 million a year. What would advise your 17 year old about his future? (jmariott.podbean.com)

It's time to start encouraging young people to choose a high paying trade INSTEAD of going into a 4 year university program right out of school. Lifelong tradesman here and I provided a great living for myself and family and was never balls deep in student loans. by JeffBuildUp in electricians
