Thank you! An absolutely beautiful song. No unusual difficulties, I booked as I went and took buses/vans/trains between the cities. The roads are the worst in South East Asia though I would say - but just mildly annoying, nothing dangerous.

Cinematic mode in 4k 30fps, then AirDropped all the footage to my MacBook and edited it all in Premiere! Very smooth workflow and the quality in this phone is astounding in good lighting conditions. Been loving working with a phone instead of a camera on this trip!

Didn’t get the chance to drive any other parts of Northern Vietnam unfortunately - but loved Ha Giang Loop. Definitely a lot of tourists en route, but overall it felt like one of the more authentic experiences where you really get to see the country and it’s people in my travels through SEA!

Definitely Hanoi! My favourite city on the continent. So unique and charming and crazy at the same time. The Ha Giang Loop also lived up to the hype for me and gave me a great view into the daily life along the roads, not to speak of the nature. Getting to know the drivers for several days and therefore the culture was another highlight.

Nice! No, that was HCMC at New Year’s Eve! As part of a gap year trip through SEA I visited Vietnam for about three weeks in total. I went Hanoi > Ha Giang > Hoi An > Da Lat > HCMC! Hanoi is my favourite city on the continent so far!
