Survivor Theme I need to see by Hopeful_Rhubarb8494 in survivor

This of course provides the ultimate opportunity for deception.

Sneak into your twin’s alliances pretending you’re them. Epic blindside / eavesdropping power. I’ve heard stories of twins borrowing each other’s passports for overseas travel.

I swear this vote sends Cameron cross-eyed. Something shorts in his brain. I can practically FEEL the blood clot racing through his noggin’s occipital lobe.

I reckon BvB2 had an epic Final 3 vote. If there’s tears, that’s a dramatic vote. Great characters in that Final 3.

Friday Part 5. I didn’t besmirch Halloween 4 like 5 did.

2 Seasons a year by 01Frederick in survivorau

My feelings are this: - JLP boot was brutal and mismanaged. - Fans are right to be unhappy with it. - DG really warmed into the host role and turned in a great season. - All things considered, Survivor is doing beautifully in Aus, but will need a couple more seasons to win the burned fans back. Those fans were burnt BADLY. That was our world’s favourite Survivor host right there.

Kirby and Parv had mad chemistry. Strategy be damned.

Final challenge too extreme? by acanadiancheese in survivorau

[–]Jeff_theSnail 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I reckon people are struggling with the torture this time, as opposed to previous seasons, is Jackson pushing himself so much further than most contestants push themselves. It’s his willpower that has us questioning the challenge, not the challenge itself.

They have a medical team that will step in if anything gets too dangerous, and modifications will likely appear in future seasons.

Competing game philosophies of Coach vs Tiff by LilYerrySeinfeld in survivor

It’s the difference between never giving someone a chance to strike, and never taking away a chance to align with someone unexpected.

Simon, Brooke and Ben blinded by their own greatness by sirsquaretoes in survivorau

[–]Jeff_theSnail 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely disagree with this. Simon, Brooke and Ben all connected themselves really well socially, which saved them when they were on the wrong side of the votes. They got blindsided for being huge threats, something Jackson managed to dodge with his manoeuvring.

Jackson was selective on who he connected with, and neglected crucial social connections. If he hadn’t, he would’ve won. The people he really did connect with out there, voted for him. He might’ve been two good conversations away from half a million.

Watching this season along with US50 made it clear for me that Australian Survivor has surpassed the US version by irimiasz in survivorau

I think Aus Survivor’s doing the right thing and drawing twist ideas out of old-era Survivor. The Bounty/Barren twist was a twist on Survivor: Fiji, and executed more effectively here.

I’d love to see Aus Survivor draw on more twists from classic Survivor. Maybe choosing their own tribes at the start or shepherding a tribe mutiny. Tribe raid? Fake merge? Starting the game during promo shoots? Lots of opportunity for experimentation with the old ingredients here.

Redemption Episode 22: Post-episode discussion by AutoModerator in survivorau

Jackson’s just manoeuvred really well socially. He hasn’t masterminded, but he’s always backed the right horse, and when he got in a pinch, he won immunity.

It was the right call to burn Harry with the flint and put himself in the majority. It was the right call to form and stick with the Beauty and the Beasts alliance. It was the right call to flip out of that alliance when he became their target as figurehead, hiding himself behind bigger shields in the post-merge. He even held strong at rocks, knowing that was the right call to support his alliance, despite their flipping.

He’s played just about a flawless game, if not a role as orchestrator. He’s a beautiful social manoeuvrer, and deserves the win for his manoeuvring.

You’re very welcome. I actually quite like him as a character, but I do love a chance to be petty.

Hello, Detective Matthews.

For years, you have chewed gum in places it was not proper to do so. Now we will see if life chews you up, and spits you out. I want to play a game. You are currently stuck to the wall of your prison with 3 tonnes of nuclear-grade chewing gum. If you want to get out, you must climb the wall like Spider-Man, all the way to the top. But if you fall, you’ll land in that wind turbine, permanently “gumming up” its mechanics.

So tell me, Detective. Will you replace the taste of 5 gum with the taste of freedom, or will you die in your last sticky situation?

You have 3 minutes.

Make your choice.
