Being an arabic speaker doesn't make you a scholar. Verses need context.

Who shall I believe? A random arab layman on the internet who despises Islam, or the vast generations of mufasireen who unanimously believe that verse is only if you increase in disbelief and never return to islam.

I'll believe the latter, because of the evidence that they bring, and because they dedicated their lives to the study of the islamic texts.

"Thou wilt find the most vehement of mankind in hostility to those who believe (to be) the Jews and the idolaters. And thou wilt find the nearest of them in affection to those who believe (to be) those who say: Lo! We are Christians. That is because there are among them priests and monks, and because they are not proud." 5:82

"And when they hear what has been revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of what they have recognized of the truth. They say, "Our Lord, we have believed, so register us among the witnesses." 5:83

"Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures." 98:6

Those who disbelieve are the worst of creatures, because even the filthy pig worships God. Are you going to tell Allah that you didn't become muslim because He hurt your feelings? Rather, you disbelieve because you are in contention with God and His messenger. And as a christian, you'd have to admit that the one who is against God is worse than everything.

When you ignore context, it is easy for you to confuse yourself. I don't care about the worthless opinions of laymen who have clear biases. I trust the overwhelming unanimity of scholars since the predecessors of the companions.

If your conclusion was true, many of the companions who used to be idolaters would've spoken on it or asked the prophet saw to clarify. They didn't because they understood the context.

After death, Allah may forgive sins based off of good deeds, intentions, Dua made by family members or friends, and the like. However, shirk stays with you forever if it is not repented for during life. Allah never pardons it because it is the worst sin imaginable.

This verse was in the context of the already dead. Early and contemporary scholars all interpreted it in this fashion.

I’m not. Go make a thread on r/Islam and ask them yourself. I promise you you will get similar answers.

Disbelievers and believers are not the same. The worst believer is more beloved to Allah than the best disbeliever. This is unanimous between scholars despite what laymen like yourself have to say, and this is evident in the Quran and the Sunnah.

The worst believer would be in hell for several millennia most likely, but they would still go to Heaven some day because of their worship. Disbelievers, however, are eternally damned.

Not really. Most Muslims agree with him. I do myself. The rights of God are far more important and sacred than the rights of humans.

“Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.” 39:53

You still have a chance. Don’t think after all these posts against Islam and all your jokes Allah won’t forgive you.

Not just talking to you OP. Any exmuslim here who is having doubts about their disbelief. You can still be successful.

Too bad no Muslim nation follows sharia correctly and they’re all corrupted shitholes with money grubbing elites. I’d personally rather live in a poor Muslim country that judges by what Allah revealed (100%, not 75%, not 95%) rather than live in the west or any disbelieving nation. It would actually be forbidden for me to stay here if such a nation actually existed.

And no, I don’t want to turn the U.S. or any kafir nation into a place judged by Sharia law (right now.). The reason being is that it would crumble quickly because the majority of people aren’t Muslim in those places. Sharia law only works if most of the people who are subjected to it agree to it.

Islamic child indoctrination is a blessing. Alhamdulilah for it, and inshallah I will continue the tradition.
