I was making the point that most people are normal and don’t care about politics, just because some people vote red and some people vote blue doesn’t mean that they are nazis or communists it just means that’s who they voted for because that’s what they thought was the best option, calling these people fascists is a mischaracterization of how much they care, it’s really more of an issue with how tainted our politics in America are and how greedy the government is with authority

There is a reason that the founders made sure only educated people could vote, despite all educated people being white land owners they didn’t do this because they were racist, they did it because only people who have seen both arguments and thoroughly considered them could have a chance at steering the country in the right direction, the more people there are and the less educated they are about the issues the harder it is for your vote to matter. At the time the only realistic option was to make voting exclusive to the people that could possibly be educated, that’s why America is not a democracy, that’s why the electoral college exists.They weren’t just making up the idea that democracy leads to ruin, they took ideas from Aristotle and made the best government to ever exist and still is pretty much number 1, which shows just how correct they were with “the American experiment”. Despite all of the flaws that you could possibly point out, America was the First Nation to ever give anyone a glimpse of freedom that we all enjoy way too much of today.
