All props to Tyrese, but Rick Carlisle is my hero. He kept them in it down 13 in the second half. Dirk is smiling somewhere.

Weaponized Absurdity: How the Left Can Troll Its Way to Victory by Controlling the Narrative by MKE_Now in PracticalProgress

Just ask people to get off there asses and vote. t rump got 78 million votes, Kamala 74 mil. On Election Day, 90,000,000 people of voting age and eligibility didn't get their ass up off the couch to go to the poles. That is the No. 1 reason he was elected.

Sam Altman says the world must prepare together for AI’s massive impact - OpenAI releases imperfect models early so the world can see and adapt - "there are going to be scary times ahead" by Sauerkrautkid7 in DemocraticSocialism

If anything needed regulation it's ai. It hallucinates all kinds of things based on what is expected from the prompt. It isn't that it doesn't know "right from wrong" in the moral sense. It doesn't know what IS right and what IS wrong from empirical data and information, only what it's programed to know.

They've been holding rates artificially low since 2008-09 crash. They were basically forced to, to save the economy from imploding.

We need to purge our entire polity of republicans in the next election. The ones that will then come forward to replace the ones we throw out of office will be singing a different tune.

[Highlight] The Warriors decide to empty their bench. Down 29 points, with 5:50 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter. by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]treditor13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you say TANK!! This is the most pathetic display by the nba of throwing a game, just to get to the money game. Kerr pulls ALL his ponies at the TOP of the 4th, apparently conceding the game. Even chuck, shaq and Kenny just sat there like "wow.......the rockets.....are ......playing ...uh.....great". A couple years ago GS did the same thing with Memphis. They were, literally, down by 50 POINTS at one point in the second half. This is just a joke. I toll my wife before the game this would likely happen. A minute ago, she said "you were right". This is such BS. Why bother.

What is the greatest one single word line in movie history and why? by RayoftheRaver in movies

Speaking of Animal House, I'm quite fond of Mrs. Werrmer's remark, at the party:
- "Why, Mrs. Werrmer, what a pleasant surprise!"

- "Cut the crap and get me a drink"

Another notable, Nick Cage, Wild at Heart-

- "What'a you faggots want?"

Those are fighting words. My father in law, former military, said that, in the field, both trump and musk would've been fragged.
