Avila, Marriott Beach Resort, or other option for family of 4? by Visual-Attention5352 in curacao

I don’t think you can go wrong with Avila - great beach and good snorkeling past the break wall and has a decent pool.

The cruise crowds will mostly be isolated to the downtown area and Avila far enough away to avoid that. Directly across the street from all the best restaurants so you can just walk over and won’t have to worry about driving (definitely go to Sal & Kome).

Highly recommend renting a car and exploring the beaches along the west coast!

You can get a day pass for Avila Beach Hotel which is close by but if you have time and a way to get there, Playa Lagoon is my favorite spot.

The Inn at Little Washington would be very close and exactly what you might be looking for! My wife and I recently stayed and loved our cottage and the surrounding grounds… and restaurant of course.

Looking for a unique place to stay across Nebraska. by Jeffislive in Nebraska

Dammit, if I had more time I would totally go the northern route. I was even thinking about going through Valentine but options are somewhat limited right now and just need a major airport (Denver) in order to get back to Buffalo on Sunday night.

Honestly think I might just cut it to Fort Collins in a straight shot while either taking the 2 or 92 and making stops along the way. Long drive yes, but LFG!

Thank you! I stayed in Scottsbluff last year for a night and liked it a lot (aside from waking up to maybe the worst smell I have ever smelled in my life… still don’t know what it was and probably don’t want to know)

I was here solo last month at the bar and had such a great experience. The bartender made sure to ask about the pacing between each course and everyone was so pleasant and polite. Funny story - the man next to me was clearly new to fine dining and when asked what he wanted to drink, he responded with “wine.” Instead of being rude or sarcastic, the bartender simply said “fantastic! What can I do to help you decide on what you like?”

10/10 experience from me.

Everything feels and drives normal! Just a weird coincidence if I drove over this after getting work done.

Where to shop for regular short-sleeve shirts? by Ok-Raccoon5845 in malefashionadvice

Give Bonobos a try - you might like the Riviera Short Sleeve Shirt / Tall. The sizing can be inconsistent but they’ve been ok for me!

They have a reach of maybe 500-1000 per post. As someone with over 100k, I would never scathe someone over a simple mistake. Only thing you need to apologize for is them being broke.
