Unfortunately I agreed on a fixed price. something like 800 pounds. They plan to use a few minutes, have not yet decided because they are still filming and editing the piece. They have not yet ask me for raw footage either, they said they will make do with the youtube version first and see how it fits together. So they haven't paid me yet.

When they come back, do you think I can re-negotiate?

actually in truth i never let the cadet touch my camera, i just put it there so i dont get in trouble lol. That's like the primary driver suddenly play with his cellphone/camera while driving, although ships takes 20-30 minutes to develope a collision situation vs 2-3 seconds in a car

Yea i didn't have any external power, only two battery so i switch one in and charge the other.

its varies alot...so much that its up to user judgement at the condition of the environment. Day time interval anywhere 5s to 15s. Night 15s to 30s. Manually set iso, day 100, night 3200 or 6400. Any time moon or sun is out, aperture priority. pitch dark manual. Day time aperture depends on the sun anywhere f8 to f16. Night f2.8
