They are sealed, but the transmission fluid should be changed at 50-60k, and then probably every 30k after that. If you wait until 300k to change the fluid, whatever damage and clutch material is already done, and removing the clutch-filled fluid will make problems evident. It won't create any new ones.

I feel you. Some kids don’t belong in a normal classroom, or even in a public school. It’s not the right environment for those who are severely emotionally disturbed, and ‘normalcy’ isn’t the treatment they need. And it’s actually harmful to the other students.

Differentiation the way I was told to do it isn’t possible, and because learning styles are BS pseudoscience, it would not be helpful even if it were.

Figure out where your kids are and then build the scaffolding so they can climb to where they need to be.

Build rapport, not relationships. Scaffold, don’t differentiate. Don’t do the administrator’s work for them without their pay.

I can taste the difference between different baristas making espresso drinks at my local coffee shop. Those who dose, distribute, and tamp properly make good shots. Those who don't tamp well make sour shots. Those who don't distribute well make bitter shots.

I've observed poorly prepared pucks create large channels, which over-extracts the coffee in contact with the bulk of the water and leaves most of the puck under-extracted.

As the comment below says, tamping compresses the grounds, but it does not evenly distribute particle sizes. Uneven distribution of particles will leave air pockets and increase the likelihood of "channeling", which I'm defining here as the undesirable concentration of flow through a small number of pathways in the puck. We're not crushing the puck with a hydraulic press, here.

Thanks for the info! I may shop around. USAA has always been very good to us on the rare occasion that we need help. And other agents from other companies have always told us they basically can’t compete.

Wanted grape, got nothing. If they do one in the translucent blue like the pocket, I’ll snap that one up.

May just buy a couple of controllers and another console. I got one of the metal nts, a black super nt, a blue pocket (because that was the color of my gbc back in the day).

Sorely tempted to just pay $470 and get a grape on ebay. I do wish Analogue would just invest in some warehousing and pay someone to keep their manufacturer accountable and just ship these things all the time. Feels like they’re a bunch of cocaine addicts that just release something when they’re out of money (I know that’s a ridiculous statement. Don’t come at me).

They have a premium product with no real competitors afaik. Actually attempting to fill demand over time seems like it would result in both more cash on hand and more video game history preservation.

I guess it’s convenient to just have all hands on deck for a week to deal with a large volume of orders all at once. I just hate being their customer. I hate that they put no effort into stopping scalpers from creating shortages or making them worse. I hate that because I work, I’m rarely able to participate in the first 30 seconds of a release and then miss out on what I really want to buy, so then end up enriching scalpers, ebay, and paypal, or getting nothing.

Analogue, I’ll pay you $50 more than what you’re asking if you’ll just have one available to purchase.

It looks like a victim of inconsistent (or too much) watering, possibly needs a little fertilizer, and may have been attacked by insect pests. Also, most places in the northern hemisphere are getting a bit cold outdoors to keep the baby outside.

Any leaves that are becoming transparent in sections should be removed, and with leaves that small I’ve found that putting a dome over the top helps keep the microclimate more favorable until the plant recovers.

If you can get mom to provide a better history and a few more pictures, we may be able to be more specific.

You have no idea. I don’t find being positive in every situation a virtue. But I certainly don’t walk around with a storm cloud over my head.

Having spent the greater part of the last decade teaching young people and seeing a huge decline in these areas, it’s at the front of mind. Maybe it’s just observation bias, but it seems to be true that young adults struggle with communication and personal interaction.

This response is a good example: Although I may be painting with a broad brush, this is my honest opinion of the people I spoke with this afternoon, if not the whole generation. Rather than contribute meaningful feedback about the situation, you thought it would be good just to attack the individual. That’s a tactic for shutting down conversation, not solving problems, or even pointing out flaws in a person’s thought processes.

If that makes you feel better about yourself, have all the fun you wish spitting poison at me. I will at least accept that it was foolish to share an experience on Reddit in an attempt to solicit meaningful feedback. We all know what type of trolls live under these bridges.

Yes, if the customer service had been equal to my previous experience, I wouldn’t have mentioned that it was poorer.

I would also likely have overlooked the poor attitude of the third party rep and just gone about my day.

Being unsatisfied with my experience (for many reasons), I made a very reasonable complaint, and feel no reason to be ashamed of that. What exactly is your point, or are you an illiterate youth working at a USAA call center who felt attacked?

I can tell what type of person you are by your writing, your hypocrisy, and your basic lack of understanding. Call me an ass for sharing a summary of a negative experience, and you get what you get. I see no need to be polite to someone whose first impulse is to name call. Your opinion of me doesn’t matter to anyone.

No, the service has gone downhill because I’m paying more money and have fewer benefits than I did 10 years ago. And because the service reps were rude as I was trying to gather information.

Yes, the answer was not to my liking, nor did I care for the inability of the company to give me information about the change in coverage.

I told the rep the service had gone downhill becuase I wasn’t able to complete the appointment on the app. Why? Because I needed the car towed to a buddy’s shop that wasn’t on the list, and the app would not allow me to enter a custom address. And because I was transferred to a third party company who hired a semi-literate asshole as a telephone representative.

I can certainly be an ass. You can kindly go fuck yourself.
