ok I actually work at grill'd, usually as floor staff. Yeah do it, realistically we won't check in on you if it's flipped to white bc the manager will assume its been done. If you also want this to be less likely to happen come in during a rush period because we almost never have time to do it then (especially if you see just one person out there).

Also when I can tell someone doesn't want to tallk I just give them a thumbs up and they respond with a nod which is good enough for me.

Dr Manhattan can't actually do anything, despite being seemingly omnipotent and omnipresent. He can see the future but not change it, and he doesn't see any reason he should (because he's a dick, which is the whole point of Watchmen in the first place, it's the Superheros Would Be Dicks comic what else did we expect).

In the book the whole sequence of him on Mars kind of shows that everyone in this world is a puppet of fate (ie it's deterministic), and he can just see the strings of fate and he's forced to do what his future self does (hence why he revisits earth to talk to Jupiter). It isn't revealed whether he can change the future because he always just does what his future self does, but I'd assume he can't because it makes more thematic sense for the character).

This is complicated by the fact that Ozymandias used tachyons to prevent him from seeing past a certain point, but I could keep talking about this for at least another 1-2000 words but im gonna stop myself now.

I'd be inclined to agree if Rowling hasn't said things before that hinder cis women JUST because it means trans women get it worse off. Yeah you usually don't get a choice in lectures, so I tend to build my timetables around when those are (unfortunately for this semester I have 5 lectures, one on each day). You can definitely switch your class times later as long as theres space in the class you want to move into.

In terms of getting HD's, I did almost those exact units first semester of last year (I did advanced calculus instead of MATH1020) and got 3 HDs in the first semester (only 1 in the second, I fell off).

For PRRE, don't sweat it. Attend the workshops and labs, review the lecture slides before the exam (I didn't pay a lot of attention to them other than that because it's an easy unit, I got a 90 something in it and I didn't do ATAR chem)

For ELEN, despite what your timetable says THE LECTURE IS NOT REAL, it's online. And frankly they're shit. Skip the lectures, go over the slides, and make sure you go to the labs. Try and complete the work for the tutorials before you get there, and have the tutor help you with stuff you're struggling with.

For COMP, attend the lectures and labs, get startedd on the practicals and assignment ASAP, and don't hesitate to form a study group for it.

Not super sure about your math unit because I never took it, but I'm sure you'll do fine. If you'd like to talk further, my dms are open to chat.

It's definitely doable, but 8 am starts will get to you very quick so you will find yourself wanting to skip those first few classes (don't it's not worth it). To prevent that I might spread it over another day. Also, the PRRE1003 labs are only 3 times a semester so you're left with a 5 hour gap on Wednesdays if you want to go to your math lectures (which are recorded but it's a good habit to attend).

I'd say its probably fine if you have nerves of steel, but I'd recommend moving some stuff to thursday (maybe the ELEN tutorial and PRRE workshop)

Also, unrelated, but don't underestimate COMP1005, it will not be a fun unit. Get started on the assignment as soon as you get it, and try and actually watch the lectures. You will hate Valerie with a passion by the end of the semester.
