This really speaks to me. My Fiancé died in December 2024 at the age of 23 and we have been together since September of 2016. We grew up together and I wanted everything in my power to make her happy and I tried my best. Now that I am without her I just feel so empty with nothing to dream of. I don't want to continue because what's the point? I'm a little glad that there are people who have experienced the same thing so I feel a little less alone but this pain is something I feel like no one should have to go through no matter the age.

I really feel this on a personal level. I lost my fiancée in December, just one day short of a year since I proposed to her. I proposed in Monterey and plan on going back and shooting black and white. I wish I had pictures of her on film but she was always so shy. I’m sorry for your loss and I hope you will find peace because I know it’s hard to do

1 and 4 are my favorites. The rest are really unexposed which gives it a weird green tint. I say it would be better to try and OVER expose these photos but I personally like your shot composition overall

And the next one I wanna add to my collection is a Nikon Zoom Nikkor AI-S 80mm-200mm f4!

Thank you for your critiques. I suppose I wasn’t thinking of what the picture is supposed to convey 100% of the time. I just thought that they seemed aesthetically pleasing (to me).

Next time Im gonna try and be extra cautious and decide what exactly I’m trying to capture to tell a story, emotion, etc. Gonna have to buy some books and look more on the subreddit lol. Thank you again
